The drumming of John Bonham is & will always be some of the best ever 🥁.

Live or studio, Bonham was prepared with solid beats. Plant looks like a young wizard. Page is charming, masterful, funky on guitar and JPJ demonstrated such emotion on any instrument he ever touched. Zep recordings are always there for the listening, but remember you have to turn it up when doing so.

It was a combination of things. Unlike other bands that were essentially friends, Zep was the first band that was intentionally created to have the best players possible. Page hired Jones who was an established studio session pro. He was lucky to find Plant and even luckier than Plant knew Bonham. Sure, they copied a lot of blues riffs and never were the greatest lyricists, but they played at a level that re-set the bar for everyone who followed.

@@kjejon1 u probably listen to Taylor swift 😆😆 Zeppelin pioneered heavy metal and hard rock,their compositions are second to none not forgetting each member was musically gifted plus they have the greatest ever rock song " stairway to heaven" nothing come close to zeppelin and never will, maybe ur mind is to fickle to understand complex musical arrangements and true musicianship
