@Bradybrandwood would you mind listing what cameras and lenses you use? It would be great to know what you use to get such great videos. Great video sir. I’ve been following you from the very beginning. Such an inspiring journey! ❤
I imagine a lot of people didn't think crustaceans could be "cute" before seeing Leon. But as someone who has seen cute lizards, snakes, sharks, moray eels, and even millipedes, who's brother "looked into the eyes of a lungfish and saw himself" and who had 3 crayfish as class pets in middle school(their names were pinchy, pokey, and scissors. we got scissors after pinchy died.), ...well, lets just say that I always thought cuteness is like beauty, it's in the eye of the beholder. Edit: my family also has a 4 foot long pet female tegu lizard that lives in our backyard, we have a heated hut(like a doghouse) for cold days. And 99 percent of the time we consider "blizzard the lizard" as utterly adorable.
Another great video. Good to see everyone is done fine. Here in Belgium we get quite a lot of rain so closing up the dominant rain side of the coop makes things more comfortable. No idea how much rain you get though 🙂
I'm still gobsmacked by how deliberate and intentional those motions were. honestly just goes to show that a lot of creatures are smarter than we ever give them credit for.
I've watched avidly since he brought him home from the grocery store. The amount of rehab was so insane. I never realized how weak they are in those tanks.
The other day we were at lunch with friends and I mentioned your videos. A young woman cried, "I love Leon!!" We compared notes while our companions looked at each other. A 60 year old woman and a 19 year old teenager carrying on about our favorite lobster! That angry crab claw was a hoot!
The most beautiful thing about your relationship with him, is that Leon will live for a very long time and will grow to be as a very big boy. It is a long time study of a very unknown animal to most.
Sitting here watching a lobster and rescue kitties makes more sense than a lot of other things in the world! What beautiful jellyfish videos. Leon is so blue - what fun it is to watch him interact with you.
If you want to make the chicken coop predator proof you need to add wire around the bottom of the cage at least 6 to 8 in out so nothing can dig underneath. Bury the wire or cover it well
Wow that tapping on the glass just goes to show how we can communicate with creatures. I had a snail friend that knew every night Iwould feed him when he came in by the back kitchen door. I took photos of his behaviur as no one would have believed me.
The jelly's are beautiful. But nothing compares to beautiful blue Leon. His colours change and become more vivid with every new video. I love the rescue tank. The variety of little creatures is insane. So pleased Jet is all better ❤
I don't know how you always seem to know when my anxiety reaches a fever pitch & that it's time for Leon & the gang & your soothing voice to work your magic, but you all never fail to swoop in just when I need you the most. Thank you for just being you & sharing yourself & your magical world with us. I love you all! ❤❤❤
I completely forgot about the chickens! They've gotten so big! I'm also happy to see Jet doing well again, poor guy. It's so nice to see that the Momma cat and new friend still come around for food.
Watching these videos remind me how precious all life, all living things are and to respect all life and treat them with empathy and compassion and kindness. Thank you.
I like the choice of music you use for your videos. Watching Leon and all the other animals just going about their day while I’m listening to the music is very calming.
The chubby salamander was a really cute find, I was surprised at how slowly they move compared the small lizards I see. Reptiles and amphibians have different metabolisms I guess.
I so love the jellyfish but that was crazy watching your son untangle them. I didn't even know they can get tangled up. So happy to see Jet back to his healthy self. Always great to see Leon and wow, him tapping back on the glass was so cool.
Brady, seeing the tender care your son makes in caring for his delicate creatures is inspiring. I so enjoy your cinematic views of all your rescue critters. Edit, forgot to say how gorgeous the blues on Leon have become.
Good you have a sponsor now Brady. Your “relationship” with Leon and how he is communicating with you, denotes that he has some intelligence. I will never eat crustaceans again.
Leon is such a beautiful blue. What an education we're getting here - who has ever seen a lobster communicate with a person? Animals are amazing, intelligent , awesome! Thank you for these great videos.
Leon just Rocks. Watching all of this unfold since day one and im always suprised about Leon. The Fact he Knocks back at the glass exactly 3 times....,amazing.
i've been watching since you got leon, took his rubberbands out, changed his tank, seeing him molting, his zoomies, i'm happy to see how beautiful leon has become
Charming looking son you have. (I am happily married, thank you). And you are right "mad lab" does his place justice. But a beautiful one. Many blessings to you and yours!
Im originally from Maine, which is known almost exclusively for its lobsters. I’ve been homesick lately as I’ve been living in California with my girlfriend, and Leon has reminded me of home. Thanks for taking such great care of him!
I just found this channel again after two years and I am glad Leon is doing great. Also the music just brought me back to those days for some reason hahaha
How is he not screaming in agony touching those jellyfish tentacles??? That's nuts! And I know, because I literally got hit in the nuts while skinny dipping with the missus, not knowing the beach water was filled with them at night time. Oh, boy, did that hurt!
So glad Jet is better 😸 Looking forward to Leon's next molt. He's become more handsome with each one. He should become absolutely vibrant with this one.
I was worried about Jett after your last video so was so frickin happy to see he is doing well! Leon looks so beautiful and after your videos I will never eat lobster again. Leon runs through my mind every time.
At some point Leon was in a lobster trap for a few days with a bunch of lobsters. Some were too big or too small to keep. But Leon got kept. He was put in a tank until he could be brought to the market and sold and then shipped off to the grocery store where you found him. All of the other a lobsters who went with him were all eaten.
Leon communicating is fascinating, it's obvious that there are real behavior patterns ! Once again such a beautiful video. It fills me with joy to see you caring so well for ALL your animals, if only everybody was like you ... and you transmitted this passion to your son for sure. Such a beautiful chicken house, mother hen really knocked on the right door ❤
