I must say you have a fun home and a lot of work. I hope you find the time to know your maker WHO makes it all possible, Ecclesiastes 12. In HIS Son, Yeshua/Jesus Christ/Messiah be Blessed.
Brady... your mastery of video production is second to none. You took a poor store bought lobster, added beautiful sound tracks, mixed a lucky collection of various animals and pets, input beautiful videos of your surrounding areas and your results are perfection. The award for best documentary goes to Brady and Leon.
I almost cannot believe this is the same lobster as the one you brought home. You've done such wonderful work with him - thank you, for keeping us up to date! You know someone really loves their animals when the arthropods get salmon and the human(s) get...rollerdogs. Also, that scenery that you show us is just wonderful. I live out West and nearly everything is in dry hibernation or dead for the summer.
Halfway through your video and I can't imagine living where you do. It seems to be so beautiful. I live in Las Vegas. It has been so hot that I noticed the birds panting. Can't have that. So everyday I haul 50 gallons, 10 at a time , of water to a dip in the concrete where they can drink and bathe. Dirt baths for all. I've been feeding small bits of watermelon and they are loving it. I've made friends with a gang of sparrows, black birds and magpies. They make me so happy. It's a wonderful thing. Thank you for letting us see not only Leon but also the world around you. ❤
Northeast Georgia is an absolutely beautiful reigon. I've lived in this area all my life and i still get blown away at some of the beautiful vistas and tucked away pieces of nature and history. They say these mountains are older than time and it shows
Been feeding magpie and squirrels. Its crazy good how they helped each other. Seen the squirrel drop apples for deer. Magpies and squirrels help each othet get food.. so on. Started this because my cats love to wstch them.
@@LadyElaineLovegood If you watch more of these videos, then you'll find that Brady mainly feeds Leon shrimp, clams, and mussels, as well as some fish.
Careful; they are escape artists! They'll climb up the silicone in the corners of the tank and easily get past any regular aquarium lid. I had to build a custom lid for mine to keep it secure, and they still sometimes managed to find a way out. Probably got through the opening for the filter.
You live in a slice of heaven! The local tourist board needs to sponsor you LOL. Watching your videos makes me feel that the world is a good place. Thanks for all the work you do with wildlife. Good luck from Ireland.
Brady, you never cease to amaze me, you made the power outage into cinema. So dramatic and eventful, glad everybody came out ok. Nice to see an overview of all the cats and a chicken update. I’m interested to see the Koi fry grow up. And lastly thanks for the tour of your new local beauty and that little fish.
I started watching your channel when the 1st Leon video showed up. I stayed for your films. I could write a page of reasons why I enjoy your content. Thanks Brady!
Ya know, I came home from a pretty rough day at work; no joke. Seeing a video from this channel really brightened up my mood. I really enjoy watching the goings on at your interesting sanctuary of critters. Thank you for sharing this with the world.
I love your videos. You're so knowledgeable about nature and its care. And the music and your voice is soothing too. So glad your hen is doing better. Definitely one of my favorite channels if not my favorite. Keep up the great work. Also, Leon looks so beautiful with the blue on his body. 🥰
I know it’s not all sunshine and rainbow behind the scene, but you seem to be living your best life (as well as your animal friends). I think a lot of us live vicariously through you. Thanks for the great update!
LEON is stunning, especially with that blue metallic coloring! (SALAMON! might i move in with LEON temporarily to get a nibble of that salmon, please?) Awaiting LEON'S third molt. Thank you for showing the critters, the search for the elusive fish, and the New Orleans style dining. Sad for your neighbors' storm damage.
Always great to see Leon and all of the other critters too. Love when you take us on trips to see things. Glad you found a Sculpin. Tells you how clean the water is. That river would be a great place to look for Eastern Hellbenders. The water is clean, cold and moves pretty fast and has lots of good sized rocks. All the things Hellbenders love. The Georgia Dept. of Natural Resources was asking people to help with tracking them. So if you see any when at the river take a pic of it then report it to them. The Hellbenders need all the help they can get. Looking forward to seeing Leon molt again, if he does.
Always love watching your videos where you get out and explore. I grew up in the mountains of Western North Carolina so it all looks/reminds me of home. The Smokies are truly one of Mother Nature’s most beautiful natural wonders!
I just love how compassionate and kind you are, Brady! There are so many people that just love these updates - thank you for being such an amazing person and sharing your experiences with us! ❤
I'm glad handsome Leon and everyone was safe during that storm..I feel bad for your neighbors whose oak tree landed on their roof, lots of cleanup 😨. Hopefully we will be able to see those baby koi thrive and grow. Thank u, Brady for this great update, as always 💜
Generac is the best name in generators. We live in the Plains, where the weather gets wild. Last year we suffered through a week-long power outage, and didn't want to endure that again. So we invested in this generator and it has never failed us in a blackout. Glad you all made it through the storm, and your neighbors, too. P.S. Here in the middle of the US, I've never seen a cat who didn't freak out during a thunderstorm. In California, we had five cats, but almost no thunderstorms. I can only imagine the reaction of your 14 cats when the lightning hit and the lights went out! You could have won a prize for film footage of that!
Leon!! ❤ Hi Brady! I'm so glad you're all safe from the storm.🌩⛈️🌦⚡️🌩🌧🌩 Leon and the little crab loved the salmon! 🦞🦀 Kaleb is gorgeous! 🐓 ❤ I hope your one birds eye gets better soon!! 🙏 The kitties are beautiful!! 🐈⬛🐈❤ God bless you all!! 😊
Right on time… I needed this awesome video to help start a relaxing weekend. Thank you Brady and Leon & all the rest of the babies! Especially Jet!!! 😻😻😻
I love this channel, but every time I walk in a grocery store and see the lobster tank it’s painful. But think how many people stopped eating lobster because of Brady’s incredible work.
I truly love your channel, from here in England. I’m sure you know how great it is that you saved your chickens, here in UK we cannot buy antibiotics online, and vets aren’t bothered about pet chickens. Thankyou for ALL you show, everything. Leon is best of course 😘
You do live in such a beautiful part of the world. Leon's looking so beautiful with all his colours - I'm wishing him good luck for his molt! I love all your kitties!
Thank you for the update. I've been sick and sneezing my brain out. This was just perfect to take my mind out of the misery. I love the way you see and record things around you.
Aww, there is nothing like a freshly laid egg! I had chickens many years ago and fresh eggs were a delight that I enjoyed back then. My cat Squeaker (a feral born cat I rescued) is here with me, watching this episode with great interest.
Love your respect for life Brady ❤ I'm so happy to know that everyone at your house made it through the storms ok. Glad your neighbors weren't hurt or worse when the tree came crashing down on their house & I hope life gets back to normal asap for them. Give lots of love to all your critters for me! ❤❤❤
Did not know there were fresh water sculpins! Very cool! Glad it only took a few hours for your power to be restored. So much life in your neck of the woods! And such variety, certainly a blessing! Jet looks exactly like my Sweetpea. She passed early this year at the ripe old age of 16. She was huge and weighed 20 lbs without a lick of fat on her. I miss her terribly. Thanks again for sharing ✌️🫶😊
As soon as i see a new Leon vid i immediately have to watch it. Heck, I'd drop everything to watch a video called "Leon just hangs around the aquarium and the cats are having a lazy day." 😂
I used to live along the Chatahoochee River many years ago as a young bride. I was amazed at all the wildlife, as well as all the stray dogs and cats (many of whom I befriended). Up here in Alberta, Canada we have less strays due to cold. Leon is handsome in blue, and has the potential to live many, many years.
You guys have been on my mind a lot lately, and I'm glad that you're all doing well. Leon sure has that "not quite ready to molt but soon" look. Take care y'all!
Something really cool would be a Leon mug where Leon's image turns bright red when the mug is hot. Alternatively, Jett mug where his image turns black when the mug is hot. Thank you for all the updates. I look forward to seeing an update on the little koi fish.
The effect on the mug would be kinda neat, but...a red Leon would mean that he's been cooked! Oh, no! Maybe instead he could go from plain brown to brown with blue detailing. 😊
@@maryblaufuss7533 I think electric blue would also be a lot nicer than red, since he's turning bluer by the day! Also a symbol of surviving the storm! 💙
*ME AFTER WATCHING A VIDEO BY BRADY.....* Aaaaand........relaaaaax. Take a couple of big, deep, calming breaths, and then go look outside - and really look - because there's so much beauty in our world, a lot of which we take for granted.❤
I really wish that my wife wasn’t allergic to cats. It’s so good on you taking in all these “throw aways”. Best animals in the world! Much love to you Brady.
I have shared your wonderful channel with my daughters because your narration helps my anxiety no end 😊. I keep garden snails as pets 🐌 sending love and hugs and a big sigh of relief from Scotland 🏴 glad you’re all ok
Regarding Jet being soo big: The long fur and overall way this cat looks reminds me at my cat in heaven which was a norwegian forest mix. Some cats are just geneticaly very big without being overweight depending on the race/mix.
I'm a proud owner of a retail saltwater only reef tank store. It's done so well after crash of 08, as Covid forced people to stay inside and look at their reef tanks, business has never ever been better. It almost hearkens back to the days when Finding Nemo came out and every kid made their parent get a tank with a clownfish since Doris or Pacific Blue Tangs don't exactly fit well in tanks under 29g as recommended for a pair of breeding clowns. The "Dories" need no less than 220g in my opinion, maybe 125 or 150 if the tiny baby size of one inch. Love your videos, but could you show more than a quick tease of your other saltwater setups? Your sons too? What I saw it looked like you guys know a thing or two about warm water (79 degree) reef tanks vs Leons which has to have that chiller I use on one of my own tanks at home because I prefer metal halide for coral propagation and will never use LEDs. They make corals die for no apparent reason, or grow in other patterns they shouldn't. Like a branching sps stag coral might turn into something that only encrusts the live rock like montipora species or even a favia or favities taking over live rock, never taking on it's true shape. LEDs are great for fish only tanks or freshwater, but being brand new tech (just 20yrs old) I don't trust them as far as I can throw them which is pretty far. Everyone has own successes, there is no ONE way to do any of this, but have you guys bought into the LED craze that's only use imo, is really for nano tanks under 29g? I burn 250 metal halide Blue radiums over every tank, sometimes supplemented with a few daylight or actinic t5s and the correct german reflector that returns 300 percent of light right back into the tank where no light is wasted. Have tried LEDs in store for free, and also at home on a 20g nano, but quickly switched back to t5 High Output fluorescents or 250 blue radiums like a 40 breeder that's sps only. Guess you can spend a few $k to fix that with lots of LEDs for anything larger, but forget that. Switching from regular lights to LED was killing everything except cheap or free soft corals like mushrooms, zooanthids, green star polyp, junk like that where people have more than they know what to do with because they grow so fast in dimmer light conditions, especially mushrooms. But let's see your reef set ups.. including equipment. Anyone seeing it might be inspired to get their own reef tank. Chillers are not cheap and if they are; buyer beware. The sea apple thats my icon? I kept that alive for 10yrs feeding it diy phytoplankton using an IV drip and a Precision Marine Bullet protein skimmer on a timer. They don't make those skimmers anymore, energy hogs, but they do 10x the work of any that exist today unless the really expensive ones that are self cleaning necks, etc. Needle wheel? Oh how we laughed at that invention. A bio ball cut in half, thats the best they can do when beckett injectors EXIST? What the heck? People are now paying more for a less effective product. What a scam. I've had bullet 1, 2, 3, also the XL models for systems in the store. Over 20yrs old and STILL working perfect. Had I added ozone injection which they're capable of, maybe that would have changed and the plastic become slightly brittle, but since redox levels aren't a big deal to me, I don't bother.
Thank you for another great video, I'm always surprised at the wonderful colours in Leon's shell, how beautiful he look compared to when you brought him back from the grocery store! Cats looking happy x well. I do like the little trips you take us on, nice to see the things near your home. Thank you.
What a wonderful video, Brady. You are so loving and thoughtful to all forms of life. Leon looks great - i hope he molts soon! So glad you had only three hours without power. Prayers to your neighbors.
Northeast Ohio here - we also got hit with that storm and a few tornadoes. I didn't lose power, but many areas near me did. Glad you are safe and all your family, including Leon, the other aquariums and the cats. If I missed any, then I apologize. Thank you for the update.
It’s nice to know that you love people too by looking after your neighbors. Some people love animals but hate people but you care for both which means you have a good heart.
Wow, look at Leon now! Each new update amazes me. Edit: Your growing rescue family is so inspiring. (I have only one rescue cat at the moment.) Thank you so much for everything that you do. (Just picked up a Jett t-shirt to complement my old Leon one.)
When my brother and I were kids we identified all the Box turtles we could in our area with unique "racing stripes" in non-toxic paint pens, they did not seem to care one iota and we were constantly amazed how many times they same turtles made their way back to us year after year. And that's when I learned from some reptile guys that many small N American turtle/land tortoise species rarely migrate more than a mile from where they're born
Your videos are amazing therapy for me. I am a caretaker for my 95 year old mother who is losing the plot at a rather rapid rate and my stress levels get rather high but watching your videos really helps a lot.
The U.S. has such diverse geography. It was nice to see the lush green forested area you live in. America is so fortunate to have such varied environments. I recently moved from high altitude mountain country in Colorado to the Southern Utah desert red rock country. Instead of hunting frogs like your cat does our little dog hunts lizards. When I was on a walk recently I came across a desert tortoise and also a rattle snake. Similar animals to those in your area that have adapted to their environment in the desert. There's a road runner that comes through the yard a few times a week. In the morning I see the flocks of geese flying to the nearby river. In the evening i see them going the other way to wherever they bed down to sleep at night. Most likely they nest for the night in holes in the red sandstone cliffs far away from predators. A flowering ash tree in my yard is always buzzing with humming birds and bumble bees.
Are you aware of the Raptor (and other birds) rescue in Utah. by Martin.... He is building a large facility, use to run just at his home for the past 30 years ... Great work. Occasionally posts videos... Especially of raptor releases, once healed.
