You can play however you like. However most people have said beating a though boss by yourself is a feeling more rewarding than any summon can. The discourage for summons is not out of elitism but to try encourage you to keep trying

Her lore is she's the deadliest blade ever and only Radahn in his prime brought her to a standstill (she kinda lost tbh bc she only got the tie by spamming Scarlett Rot so heavy it still infects Caelid). She can be dodged just like any other boss and this guy perfectly shows how.

@@NoNameJester na, she doesn't do that much damage, at least if you stick close she doesn't hit you with the sword, just the hilt which does way less damage
The fact that it took him 242 trys on his first kill is a great example how dying doesnt mean u are bad, it means u know now more than u did 5 seconds ago. Experience and musclememory go a long way in Soulsgames. If u cant kill a boss the first time than try it so often that ur brain can do the dodges subconsciously
Yeah but he's not the only one to do that. Multiple other people has done that kind of run too, reason why Solo Her is popular is because he helps other people.
Fromsoft should make a custom cutscene or voiceline to trigger if let me solo her's account is detected, where if he enters the boss fight she says "no no no, not you again!"
