being able to both give and receive respectful criticism is a really good life skill, both in game and out. a majority of players lack this skill.

At 31:15 you demonstrated this when you were raising last week. Raid lead said some good job to you for popping the right egg I think and we could visibly see the mood boost on your face.

What is so interesting is that Max’s wow experience is extremely…. EXTREMELY impressive, and should be very valuable to any company outside of gaming. What we actually see max doing on stream is impressive alone. Managing attitudes, managing expectations. Continuous improvement. But the things we DONT see is probably insane. He’s conveying information through clear communication with graphs, demonstration, and peer to peer review. He is analyzing pretty complicated numbers, bouncing that data off of others and turning that into a strategy. He is even likely pitching ideas to software developers to help program weakauras and addons. ALL at an extremely high level, in hish stress situations, on a timer. If I were hiring someone and they had the background that Max does, I’d be EXTREMELY interested in hiring them or at the very least seeing how we could fit them into the company.

Im totally with you, Xaryu. There are some reasons where you need to talk to somebody directly (fix interrupts/stuns etc.) but in this case, the sound makes the music.

I try to give constructive criticism in M+ so that more people can learn and hopefully advance to higher keys, but some people are so lost that they try to blame it on my heals not understanding some mechanics are not meant to be healed through and that it would be one shot anyways at higher keys.
@bigboyhooga2776
@bigboyhooga2776 2 дня назад
M+ is a rough environment, i tried multiple time to get title in pugs only ( i usually get 50-100 away, can never reach it XD ) people are nicer the higher u go, people literally just say rip key or sorry for key, gg good luck in next one.. i rarely encounter any toxicity at all, but everytime i do like vault runs ( for exemple 10s this season instead of doing 12s) people go all out toxic and raging XD don't worry my brother, its rarely the healers fault, its mostly the not using any defensives fault from my experience ( or not having them when needed so a bad use of cd )
@bojnebojnebojne
@bojnebojnebojne 2 дня назад
Yup, most of the times it's a dps player dying, or getting hit by avoidable dmg instances or is mitigatable with a defensive they had available upon dying. I myself was guilty of this no longer than yesterday when we depleted a +11.

Im in my 40s and was an electrician and electrical engineer for 20 years (now retired). I remember first coming into the work field and thinking I knew EVERYTHING and never owned mistakes. I had to learn the hard way by making a mistake, that if it hadnt have been checke dover, could have k*lled someone. So, now playing WoW, its very easy for me to take accountability bc I was in a field where mistakes can cost you AND other peoples lives. Learning accountability is crucial to growth as a person. Sad to see so many people still dont know what that means. Happy to see Max and Liquid have this mindset!

I always tell the people i play with to call me out on shit if i do something wrong, because i want to improve and i might not realize if i'm doing something wrong every time. It's also a great way to maybe learn something new that you would otherwise not have come to know until much later.

Couldn’t agree more with the accountability bit. It goes a long way when you admit to mistakes. Or even if someone made a blatant mistake, opening up about something you might could have done differently to avoid that mistake from even being a possibility. It’s so extremely rare. At least in my guild. I feel like everyone immediately shifts the blame elsewhere. After awhile it kind of all adds up and creates this weird vibe in the raid and people start playing much more poorly. Clicking and having a good attitude goes such a long way. Was progging heroic ansurek with my guild tonight and it got awkward. Was completely silent on comms towards the end. People frustrated. Probably whispering and talking bad about one another in the various clicks. So toxic. The game can be so damn fun when everyone is on the same page and trying to keep things uplifting. Sorry for my ramble. This noob is out! Good night.

The funniest part is when someone shits on another player for making one mistake, then they make that same mistake next pull. Had some shit healer flame another healer for not dispelling after 1 wipe, absolutely going off on him ON NORMAL. next boss he dies to something really stupid and he is the only death on the pull, meanwhile we get the kill and the healer he flamed was top hps. Of course he didnt say anything out of embarrassment 😂

Max is legitimately one of the best leaders in a online guild/ community that I've seen. If you want to see the worst, look up blood legion, Riggnoros if you want to see the biggest little pee pee syndrome dork in the world.

Shave the goatee ... a new look is good now and then. To your wife, man is she' a lucky one. :) As embarrassing as it is, when I muck up I will admit and offer an apology - noting my goof and correcting it. If I get kicked, oh well. But, so many times I've known the player who wiped the group and watch them then come back even stronger, when the tank gives them a chance. For tanks who expect perfection - guess what, perfection doesn't exist period in any human being. Stop deluding yourself. Stop taking the game so seriously - we're all human ('cept them damn bots) and subject to mistakes. Accept it, work it out, move on.
