Thank you for the vid. I ended up connecting it to a power supply (5V and at least 1,5A) with a micro USB cable.

Great review ive been considering this but read many negative reviews if there not run on a subscription please may I ask if you recommend say over a zosi camera system

I don't have the subscription, and they work perfectly. You just need to add a memory card, and you are set to go. I'm not familiar with the zosi camera, so I can't compare the blink system to them. What I would say is that the blink cameras have worked great for us, and I recommend them.

Lithium rechargeable batteries used here and they die in 3 days. We do live in an area that always has movement. Even tried different settings

Rechargeable batteries aren't recommended. That might be why they aren't lasting very long. Try on Rechargeable and see how they get on.

I think blink has some nerve saying the batteries will last as long as the claim! I have to change mine monthly. Energizer lithium. They aint free either. There is absolutely no way a battery will last two years in one of these cameras. Prove me wrong!

I can't prove you wrong and totally agree. The length of time that the batterie last do depend on how much motion they detect, but there is no way they are lasting 2 years, even on the more expensive lithium batteries. FYI, lithium batteries don't perform any better than the cheaper alkaline batteries.

Yes, they are the recommended battery. I have used them and they don't last that much longer than the Alkaline, which I always have around.

Waste of batteries!!! .. it wont take 2 yrs long .. only takes 2 weeks🤣 its a scam!

I could see them lasting 2 years, if they never get triggered. Lol. I turn mine off now, when I'm outside for an extended period of time, and the batteries last longer. Overall, I really like the cameras
