A CPU can last about 10 years. But, if you take good care of your CPU, it can last much longer than that.
For example, some old computers that have processors from the 1980s are still able to turn on and run. Of course, they are not compatible with today's software and hardware.
Two such examples are the 1984 Macintosh and Commodore Amiga. Some of those models are able to turn on and run today.
For instance, a school board in the Grand Rapids School District used the Commodore Amiga to the run the air conditioning systems 19 schools in its disctrict from the 1980s until 2015 -- over 30 years!
The lesson is this: Take care of your CPU and it will take care of you!

Fun fact: The Motorola 68000 had 68000 processors. Imagine if CPUS today were named after transistor count. Intel or AMD 30000000000

Hey your video on how to install driver in 60 seconds. I installed the driver using the first method and it hasn’t done anything, how do I use the driver I just installed?

Did you previously have a driver for it? If you did have a previous version of the driver that was still functioning, the new one will likely not make a notable difference.@@Bloxypox

Hey man, I used rx 470 and I switched to rtx 4060 and problem appeared where I can't see my gpu temperature in task manager, and yeah I have seen your video about that and that is temporary solution until i restart my pc and gpu temperature disappeared again. But the problem is when I can't see temperature in task manager, my fps is around 10, which is terrible for that gpu. I also installed 32gb 3200mhz RAM. Can you help me with that? Thank u!

Hi, if this problem continues, your best option may be to intstall an app like Speccy. You will see the GPU temperature from the graphics section.

@@windowswexplained Thank you for your response, but I don't really care about temperature, I only know when I don't see temperature in task manager, I have poor performance. I think the problem is my mother board, I have asrock b450m pro4 r2.0, and maybe the motherboard isn't compatible with GPU

Where did the 10 years come from???? Mother boards might last 10 years. But as of yet I have not come across a CPU that's failed. I've got 20 year old CPU's that work just fine. So long as you can still find a mother board, I think it might be possible for a CPU to last 100 years. However there is little reason and value in running a CPU for over 10 years.

Good point. But some CPUs have lasted over 40 years and are still running!
