I have asked my lawyer wft is takin so long and I want to proceed however I can .This process is taking forever the damages for me were huge I almost lost my business with the covid mess then was fired by them. its wild. best wishes to all of you with your struggles. I have been very fortunate to survive their crap so well and it has cost me probably a million due to having to tap savings that exploded etc.

Thank you! Very informative. I've been waiting for my case to move forward for 9 months now, still no update. I contacted my EEOC investigator to get an update on the case and he simply said no one from my previous employer has responded...me contacting the eeoc upset my attorney, who turned around and told the eeoc investigator assigned to MY case not to speak to me but to go through her directly! I would not have had to go directly to the eeoc investigator (again, the ONE ASSIGNED to MY case) if my attorney would communicate with him but she doesn't. I feel like this is dragging on longer than it should because no one is actually communicating on my behalf! I paid nearly $4k for an attorney who is radio silent and gives generic information for every question I ask !! Extremely frustrating!!

The EEOC is on the side of the employer. They were very much for discrimination. The EEOC is on the side of the employer. They were very much for discrimination and you must consider the eeoc a rattlesnake.

Very helpful because my Wayward Attorney deliberately kept me in the dark as he derailed, sabotage, and destroyed my EEOC Investigation. His misconduct consisted on egregious Malfeasance Manipulate Malpractices, Conspiracy with Opposed Counsel, Withheld Direct Evidence, Subordinate Perjury Age Discrimination, omitted Charges of Retaliations, Omitted Wrongful Termination, Omitted Witnesses, Stonewall me from my own Due Process and unlawfully/ not informed that he prematurely pulled my Right to Sue (upon request). Lied to me that he never saw nor obtained the hand-picked N- Word statement my Manager wrote and called me to my face with bowled fist and gritted teeth.

During the EEOC process do defense attorneys commonly refuse settlement negotiations stating “they believe the case is a summary judgement case” as defense tactic even if it’s obvious the complainant really has sufficient evidence and valid claims? Under what instances does counsel for agency refuse negotiations? Is refusals ever used as a control tactic? Will defense attorneys refuse to negotiate even though the plaintiff has a solid case? #EEOC

Hello Vince - Would it be worthwhile for my attorney to work with the EEOC during the investigation? How much input do I have during the investigation or is this a "hands off" investigation?" I'm thinking towards allowing the EEOC to investigate because they may find things that we do not think about that may help my case in the long run.

You potentially can, but if you aren't represented I'll warn you that being pro se in Federal Court is an active nightmare. It is close to impossible. Federal Court chews up even experienced litigation attorneys who are new to Federal practice.

Question...actually a couple of questions if you dont mind ....does this timeline apply to a case that was before the DHR....if the DHR decides not to pursue it and says you don't have probable cause and I dont sue in NY State Supreme Court....you can ask EEOC for "substantial weight review"....because my case was cross filled with both agencies . Will EEOC treat case like a new case or just review the Title VII /ADA claims ..... Hope this isn't too complicated but this video brought me alot of what ifs.....the same thing with an attorney from California who does good videos .....thanks for this service !!!!!

Greetings from Texas,I’m new to your channel and I have a question, my status with the EEOC went from Charge is eligible for ADR and after 30 days it changed to Status: Investigation EEOC is collecting evidence about your charge. Is this because my former employer did not want to mediate? Thanks for the uploading!

EEOC investigations are not confidential in the way that a mediation might be, but generally all parties are interested in keeping an EEOC dispute quiet and the filing of an EEOC does not create anything that will easily show up on google or in common background checks.

Due to medical n mental conditions brought on by mask wearing. I’m about to appeal EEOC private sector decision. I believe I must stress the medical issues. They only aloud me to take FMLA plus additional medical leave unpaid. After 16 weeks i asked again for accommodation their position was they didnt let anyone work from home. Lawyers PS said they did not discriminate. Any key points you can offer. Ive been pro se I have 0 money but not letting it go. I guess I get 30 days to file part two.
