How long to split 1 basket/ tote of firewood at a steady pace. Using my Super Splitter J model with wide table. Thanks for watching. #logsplitter #woodhound #firewoodbusiness #ibctote #supersplit #supersplitter #woodsplitter
Great job. I’ve never run that machine before. But definitely looks fun. Keep it up. I want to see you sell 150 plus facecords this year. Put that new dump trailer to work.
We oughta swap machines for a week or two!! 😂😂. It is a pleasure to operate. I’ll keep grinding away. I’m hoping to do 100 or maybe more. I’m fixing to get real busy with dance recitals, volleyball and baseball games so I dunno how much I’ll get done. 😂😂. I’m loving my dump trailer though, so glad I bought it. Thanks so much for your support buddy!! Keep burning!!
I'm super amazed. I have watched firewood channels for a few years, and the super-split is always so clean and efficient. I bet you could even make your own toothpicks!
Nice job. For the money nothing can touch the SuperSplit. I've been trying to break 45 minutes cutting, splitting and stacking in a basket. With my set up. You have a better rhythm than me. Another great video Jacob.
Thanks Mr. Jerry!! 45 mins with all that your doing is great!! You have definitely got the complete process for the diy processing. Glad you’re recovering well!! I knew you would and happy it’s going well for you I sure appreciate your time and support!! 🤝👍🏻
Hi Jacob, I have never run a Super Split. It sure cranks out the wood. I received your sticker. I will get it up on Blades of Glory 4. You take care, be safe my friend. Later. Al
It’s a pleasure to run. I’d love to run a Wolfe Ridge 17VS like you have!! It’s my dream machine. Awesome! I got your sticker too! Have a good weekend!! Thanks!!
Jacob, there’s no denying the efficiency of the machine nor the clean splits it inherently produces. What I find most amazing (beyond the sayings and scripture) is that you did it all on one toothpick lol. Maybe I need to try gnawing on a toothpick so I can have your energy; as my pipe doesn’t seem to provide any when it’s stuck in my maw😜. I don’t believe that there’s any better videos out there which demonstrate the capabilities of SuperSplit better than yours. Great video
😂😂🤣. Glad you like the sayings and verses & I appreciate you saying so!! I didn’t even realize I had that toothpick in the whole time😂. Why am I Not surprised that you smoke a pipe,, you have that persona of a wise/experienced Man that’s a pleasure to talk with!! I can’t thank you enough for your continued support and entertaining comments!! 🤝🤝
Hey Jacob , that’s some fine splitting right there . That was a beautiful tote of oak . That super splitter is a fine machine . Thanks for sharing and have a great weekend !!👍🏻🪵🔥
Hi Jacob, I have never run a super split. It can sure knock out the wood. You take care my friend.Al by the way your sticker arrived. Will go up on Blades of Glory 4. Heading out of town for 2weeks. Be safe.
Love those super split splitters. You really cranked through that tote. I find that if I put the crouch further away from the splitting head, those tough pieces seem to split a little easier. Not that you had that much trouble. Great video! Thanks for posting.
I have a J model and just got a brand new HD model. They sip fuel. We use them to resplit wood off of my cordking processer. Seems like people want smaller splits now. The Super splitter is the answer. Super reliable. I like how the HD will just lug through knots. Great video.
Nice!! You’re a big time producer then, I’m just a small time wanna be 😉. How do you like the HD model compared to the J model? Is it much heavier when moving around? I appreciate any information and many thanks for your time watching and commenting!
Hey there Jacob! Great video this morning to enjoy with the morning coffee! I enjoyed the full length feature with no edits. 🔥💯👍 Nice work that day! The olde super split really is an awesome splitter! Thanks for having us over! Always enjoy my visit to your woodyard an channel buddy! Take good care and we’ll see you again soon 🔥💯👍. Cheers! Andrew from NB :)
@@jessejones9830 hey there! Welcome! I’d suggest going back through Jacob’s catalog on the channel and checking out his previous videos 🔥💯👍. Great content and entertaining! Enjoy the channel Jesse! I always enjoy dropping by every week! 🔥💯👍 Andrew from NB, Canada :)
Appreciate you watching!! Yeah, there were a few I didn’t want in that basket. You’re right, they were gonna be split, i was saving them for the pile for my own use (they were less desirable) Thanks so much!!
The Super Sipper!! That’s impressive 9 totes on one tank and still going! That would have taken me at least 45 minutes and 1/3 tank of gas on the ole boxer. Nice work Jacob👍🏻👍🏻
😂😂. I probably drank more sun drop than the splitter used in gas, that’s what Brandon @ McKamey Farms said anyways. 🤣. Yeah, that’s about where I was at with my old box store splitter. Many thanks Todd!!
That’s pretty dang impressive to me Jacob! Got a little splash of SunDrop mid-basket and kept rolling 😂 I’d say the super-splitter is equal to the Ultra (it has to be close on cycle time). I’d say you’re burning more SunDrop than gas?! 😆😆
😂😂That’s funny!! Yeah, it seriously sips gas and I mainly run on 3/4 throttle. That’s what I ran on this video,, it’ll be faster at full throttle of course. The ultra is fast too. Thanks so much Brandon!! 👊🏻🔥🪵
I've been using one for 16 years , I acquired an HD series from a guy, being i get into some curly stuff. I mainly use it for personal use but they are a force to be reckoned with. Wonderful machine easy to maintain. I will never let mine go.
Awesome!! Appreciate you subscribing! I usually do a time lapse but tried something different with this video and folks seemed to like it. Thanks for your time watching!!
Great time! That's a very fuel efficient splitter.....I really like that hookaroon with the axe head on the backside....very handy. Have a blessed day bro!
It certainly is. Yeah, I love that little dual head pickaroon. It’s nice. Many thanks for watching and making time to comment!! Hope you’re blessed as well!!
Cool! I grew up riding horses. We used to have fun shows once a month. Even had a “Twin City Saddle club”. I don’t ride much anymore though. You got some really nice saws!! Thanks for watching and commenting!!
I don’t know. I’ve wondered about that myself. Seems like I came across an old video of someone that had done that a couple years ago. I’m hesitant about modifying the size of the wedge though just in case. Appreciate your time watching and commenting!
Yes I do. I go over the whole splitter once a year. I bought an extra bronze bushing that goes on the clutch. The folks @ super split suggested that I replace the bronze bushing & store the extra bushing in a ziplock bag with oil in it to lubricate it while stored. So once a year I swap those bushings when I change the oil etc. I’ve seen Mr. Joe’s video. It’s very helpful. I love his channel. Appreciate the question and your support!! By the way, I’ve seen your “warning” video of the SS too. 👊🏻 Thanks again!!
Here on the Left coast (Origun) , in 7 decades I'd never heard the term "face" cord before watching these videos on the SS. New owner of a J. 😄There's no "gone" in Origun! Cheers
I’ve mentioned it in a video or 2 but I can’t remember which ones. I normally run the throttle at a little over halfway and I’ll run it up to 3/4 or more if I’m splitting hickory or pecan sometimes. Hope that helps. Appreciate you commenting and watching!! 🤝🇺🇸🔥🪵
@TwinCityFirewood Thank you for getting back to me on that. Getting that much split on a tank is pretty incredible. I'm thinking if everyone ran a challenge on how much wood they could split on a pint of gas the super split would come in second. The guy swinging the axe has the win on that one.
Not sure why "Fire Wood" channels are obsessed with how long it takes to split a certain amount of wood. Enjoy the journey. Take your time and stack the wood in the tote and you will increase your volume per tote by a 1/4 to a 1/3.
People ask questions about how long it takes etc., so why not make a video showing it. I wouldn’t call it obsessed but you can. Also, I do enjoy the journey but I don’t enjoy stacking, so I don’t because I have a lot of totes to store the wood in and can get more. I’m not worried about volume per tote to use less totes. Appreciate you watching and commenting.
@tomlaracey3515 same reason mostly everybody that does anything adds unique goals to the task. I’m not sure why people are obsessed with commenting when they have pointless things to say, enjoy the journey of keeping your mouth closed
I was getting a kick out of reading some of your comments down below😂. Very intrigued about this splitter appears it could be violent at times if it hits some knotted wood
😂😂. Yeah, you definitely have to “read the wood”. There’s been 2 occasions when I went down to my knees in the beginning of using it. Just like anything though, you get better with experience. Appreciate your comments buddy!!
