Obviously this couldn't be used to incriminate someone since that's an Amazon meter and it could be completely out of calibration. Yes I'm talking to you mister VPD officer...
Thank you for doing this! Drives me crazy to see all the videos about how loud a particular exhaust is that are filmed in someone's garage without any sort of measurement. You can get an idea of tone, but not loudness. Thanks for putting numbers on it.
The stock exhaust are all terrible. I did the exhaust mod on mine. Tooke them apart, shortened, drilled more holes, etc. It sounds waaay better, and i had fun doing it.
Your Canadian meter (aka metric) is 100 cm and is equivalent or in “Bald Eagle” terms (U.S. or Imperial) 39.37inches. So your “Boot” is slightly longer than our “yard.” Since there is a difference in cm/inches is there a bald eagle difference in decibels (db)? And since you’re being technical, did you measure the db (decibel) at Fast/Low or Slow/High? There is a difference.
@@sparkyastwo so dB measurements would be the same as a unit of measurement. The difference would be your state laws on acceptable limits on how the governing body measures them. I measure in both fast and slow, however for the purposes of this video we did it on fast.
Yes. I’m well aware. Down here in Florida we measure Fast/Low but mostly leave motors alone. That being said, I have V&H 3” slash on my 2022 Scout Bobber and sound similar to yours. Waiting to see what you do with the Scout 101, there are no dealers down here with them yet. BTW: Go Panthers!
