In alternative timeline : **Paulie opens pizzaria, Sam kills Salieri and becomes the Don. After some years, in 1951, when Vito and Joe came for Tommy, this time they asked Tommy to join the Trapani family and become their capos. Tommy said "Yes, you can join". Vito and Joe entered the family and Tommy become their mentor. 1 day later, Vito killed Carlo Falcone in the observatory, told Leo to make ties with Trapani family. Leo told Vinci. Luckily, Vinci agreed about this idea and forgaved Vito and Joe for their last jobs. Mr. Chu also didn't wanted to "kill" Joe. Eventually, Vinci family become the ruler of Empire Bay and had connections with Trapani family from Lost Heaven. In 1968, Lincoln Clay become friends with Vito and Joe. Later he understood that Joe is his father. Between Joe and Lincoln had some similiar talks like from Star Wars ))). Then Lincoln forgaved his father for the past things and they managed to kill Sal Marcano before he was trying to kill Lincoln and Sammy. Joe and Lincoln become ruler of New Bordeaux and the third largest family along with Trapani and Vinci family. THE END**
@@haidersamir6907they didn’t kill Joe he shows up in the ending of mafia 3 as Leo’s driver. He doesn’t have any dialogue unfortunately but he does look at Lincoln before driving off with Leo. Even the developers confirmed they didn’t kill Joe.
This would actually be one heck of an interesting twist on a familiar story! I would love to see this play out. The fact that Sam originally wasn't too bothered by this but later on becomes angry and betrayed that Salieri continues to lie to their faces, that's enough to convince him to take action. Everyone says Paulie is annoying of his sped acts and goofy humor, but he is easily the second saddest character in this game. Hot take Paulie > Anyone else
At the end of the day he's the only one who still had Tommy's back that's way more than you can say about Sam. I wished we could leave him at the gas station
I was annoyed by Paulies voice I feel like it was too goofy and in original he had aggressive voice I think Sam and paulie should have switch voices, but still he the same and he is my favorite in mafia 1
@@GrosvnerMcaffreynah let's not gang up on sam when you're in a gang you don't just do whatever others do. You look at it from the main characters point of view but if you were in sam's shoes you'd probably do the same he was against robbing the bank. He knew how strong his boss became and knew the boss would kill them if he found out. Sam also says it when he meets tommy that they are always forcing sam to choose between the boss or his brothers. For example let's say you and i were in a drug cartel and i say, hey let's steal some of the bosses drugs he's rich anyway right? Would you join me immediately knowing if you got found out you'd die.
@pennytrui1149 he still could have let Tommy go or try to fake his death the idea he killed Paulie and tried to sucker Tommy into a trap is just unforgivable to me
@MafiaGameVideos can you imagine if in free ride you would be able to enter morello's bar and his thugs would say some lines about the "crazy times we had back in the day - ah tommy?" and morello would be alive and interactable (salieri too) - Sara would also be interactable and you would be able to take her out or something idk, i feel like when you finish the game there absolutely nothing to do- and also they gotta release 60 fps on consoles
Good alternative ending, but as for Sam becoming the new Don after Salieri, one has to remember what Frank said about him during that car ride home: "Sam is loyal, but he has no vision". Basically, he's just a rough and tumble enforcer off the streets, same reason why Johnny Torrio and his family wouldn't let Al Capone move up the ranks, he lacked the class, refinement, and leadership required of a powerful Don.

i think salieri would eventually get too old and retire since he's a pretty heavy s moker /drinker it's possible he dies by the early 40s. then sam takes over and tom could be the new consigliere.
