This episode of Locked On USC is all about how many.--How many points per game can USC score? In the first segment, I have a comparison between USC 2024 and Alabama 2019, and why the Trojans can score 40 points per game.

Do not change our philosophy. Score early and often. Period make the big 10 play ketchup the entire game. It has been proven over many years in the Rose Bowl that they are not capable of doing that.

I did some research and if you add Oregon and Washington. The Big10 had 12 teams in the Top52 last year in defense. There’s no way we should not be top 50. That’s setting the standard low.

Marc I really am hesitant to say how USC should run their offense. I think they will need to score 35 plus points to win nine games . How they get there is another story . If they can somehow have longer drives then last year by running the ball more , it will help the defense tremendously. Let’s face it , the defensive line is going to be controlled in most games . Meaning most teams are going to score .From looking at SCs defense, teams will be able to run the ball on them . Our Secondary is very strong . So the only thing we can hope is that we slow down opposition drives and on the offense we can score 35 plus points on long drives . This is all hypothetical until we see them play a few games . With the off season very slow with news , love your daily podcasts for off season nuances.

It’s going to be a brutal schedule! We will be much improved on defense but our offense will take a huge step back. Should be a 5 to 7 win season. Just way too many holes in the trenches in a conference that dominates the line of scrimmage. It’s going to be like going against old school smash mouth Stanford every weekend.

41 ppg, would have been 44 if there was still a Pac-12. 100 days is a long time. But we shuffled the coaching staff deck so maybe the disappointment will finally abate. Idunno I'm just tired of wasting talent around here and it's little wonder recruiting has not gone well. Hell-ton created a lot of ill will and bad rep for player development. So hopefully new guys stick around for the worm to turn. May I challenge you to go through an episode withOUT mentioning the zeros please - we don't care what they think. Cash is king and we can hang with the best of them, including Oregon. Here’s what Oregon has that we don’t: Fans and an identity. I have never heard the coliseum being referred to as a loud and hostile environment, nor have I ever experienced it for myself. When recruits go to a game at Autzen, it’s over. We suck as fans.

The Holiday Bowl was the formula for USC, they just need to add in better running attack with a better o-line. Moss will put the ball into vertical seams and go over the top more than in past years because he has the receivers to do it. The combo of stretching the field and then dumping underneath effectively, along with a better run game will allow USC to dominate. 40 points per game. Caleb is far overrated, he has amazing physical skills but his ability to make reads and get the ball out was actually POOR. the offense will be more consistent
