When I first started working back in 1972 we used to have 4 x 15 oz beers every lunchtime. It was Reschs. About 4.9 ABV.

that's really interesting. at 2 IPAs, i feel like I'm my limit and wouldn't drive. I either have a very low tolerance or maybe the drunkness level allowed is higher than I expect? I me two beers and i'm kinda buzzed.

A bit of both, probably. Height, weight, food level vs empty stomach, and even genetics all affect it. But it's definitely higher than you think, aka kinda buzzed.

After just one drink, I’m not good to drive for an hour or two. I very *rarely* drink. If I drank even half as much as they did, I’d be on the ground puking lol. So I’m very curious what the BAC is for people with little to no tolerance 🤔 gonna try to find some videos here on RU-vid to see if anyone has tested it lol

If they had the heavier guy drinking IPAs, and the lighter guy drinking lights, the numbers would have been much closer to even. Body weight and overall blood volume is MASSIVE to tracking your BAC. Don't believe me? Lookup Andre the Giants alcohol tolerance. 😉

When you plan to drink, you should plan ahead on how are you getting home if you not going to be drinking at home. Is there going to be a DD or is the ride home going to be Uber/Lyft/Cab or are you just going to have a couple and will drink water between them. If you can afford to get drunk, you can afford a ride home. Its cheaper to take a Uber/Lyft/Cab DD home than to get DUI or to hurt/kill someone.

I guess that's why they were saying things like 52 minutes to sobriety ... but I don't know if by sobriety they mean down 20 alcohol blood level but that is my guess . To play it safe MAYBE have no more than one drink an hour ... or less than that probably would be smarter to have one drink every hour and half ... ? ... but not a mixed one which would have more alcohol . Personally I think if you're going to be drinking you should not drive at all not even if you have only one sip of alcohol .

I usually have just 5 pitchers and I'm still good. The more muscle mass you have the faster you break down the alcohol also wieght, age,height play a role

Acually the limit is .05 DWAI pretty much exactly the same penalty as a DUI .08, and most cops just take you to jail just for having alcohol on your breath. DA will drop it later but you still go to jail.

It's a terrible ad, because it was intentionally dishonest. Yea but that does not mean this tester is like the one Police has. The one police uses are designed to make you fail even if you come near the limit. Bust your ass and DUI nightmare begins from fine, to driver license suspension from 6-12 months obviously during this time you will be paying Uber left and right for a very long time lol Mind you going to take classes forever and 50 hours of community service, probation, ..etc Pretty much they will fuck you for 1 mistake. So you know what, Uber is cheap as fuck. You dont even pay parking. Save yourself headache, money and time. First timers pay fine from $2k-$4k thats a lot lol fuck that
