@@longduong5212 Not only do the launchers have a tendency to mass kill friendlies, but their AI seems awful: Once they have launched their initial rockets, they seem to constantly switch to melee and then run directly into the deathclaws to be slaughtered.
The launcher that TKed half his team, picked up the mini gun and then killed the last deathclaws had me dying. We’ve all had or been that teammate before.
I always liked operation anchorage. Always wish we got more mods based on those assets. Like the simulation is supposed to be fake prooaganda made from a drugged out general chase so like a mod showing the battle being tougher and longer with a lot more would be epic.
i think it would've been more popular had it not be like a Call of Duty level. a good story could've helped, but FO3 was written by amateurs for the most part, while the TES team was focusing hard on Oblivion and it's DLC.

They seemed somewhat competent at not firing at enemies that are close to allies but they were awful at fire discipline when allies were walking around nearby. Most of the friendly fire incidents seemed to come from the launchers targeting deathclaws far away but accidentally firing while a teammate was walking into their line of fire.
No wonder they sucked at Anchorage. On a side note would like a Fallout game where the prologue as the PC fighting in Anchorage before he is sent to a Vault for whatever reason
The anchorage simulation is more of a propaganda piece than an accurate depiction of the battle, safe to say the actual Chinese were probably, you know, good at war.
I remember there was a mod that added more Zetan units to the game, I think it was Monster Wars, in Fallout 4 there is the mod Zetans- Alien invaders in the Commonwealth
That first launcher is an absolute legend. Nukes his entire platoon, then puts down his weapon and gets killed with the deathclaws not even getting a scratch
This is quite fitting considering Deathclaws were originally designed and trained to be used as a sort of shock troop unit by the US against the Chinese
How many level 1 courier npcs with random stats and the starting equipment from the docs does it take to clear Quary Junction? How many does it take to storm the Super Oblivion gate outside Bruma? Would it even be possible to do make that last one happen since they’re on the same engine?
China cannot afford the losses though unlike NCR and Legion! Something about a daft one-child policy for 80 odd years... They calculate losing 1/3 of their army would signal genetic death for the Chinese.
This should serve as a lesson. If the US military would stop spending on dumb stuff like tanks and planes and invest in deathclaw research instead, they'd have a tactical edge in the event of foreign invasion.
It would be interesting to see how well the chinese can do against fallout factions like ncr legion, bos when they get their best units like tanks, dragoons, snipers etc.
On the Same idea, how many 'Fire Teams' itr takes to clear this? Like the Allies you get with the tokens on Anchorage DLC, maybe see how many it takes altogether or which team is able to get further? XD
God damn the deathclaws taking on The Chinese People's Liberation Army like that that's crazy. Also, I would love to see a video where the Chinese Communists teamed up with the NCR to take on the legion even though I feel like that would be like the rules against fallout like America's old enemy before the Great War fighting alongside each other for the first time, especially on American soil. TTW allows the npcs to be in fallout new vegas via console commands. After wards I go into the geck, load that dlc along with fallout new vegas, find the Chinese soldiers npc ID, and then use console commands to spawn them.

The hero shot at 5:05 immediately followed by a hard cut to 2 Deathclaws rushing him. The fact the rockets also seemed to kill more of the troopers than the Deathclaws when they were deployed is perfectly on point for Chinese tactics.
Hi, how do you get you npcs to actually go on the offensive and active in their attacks? When I spawn the npcs, they only attack when the enemy or monsters are really nearby.
