@@pork_chop3028 Kidnapped? I was kidnapped once. They locked me in a rat. A crazy rat. The room that kidnapped me kidnapped me kidnapping me and my entire family of rats that he kidnapped. And rooms make me rat.
Kind of but because some of the kills like the wire and not a kill but the wire would probably count as murder because you could have done a different option like jump out or escape mabey I’m wrong but that’s my opinion.
@fl2terer Nah its not that rigid. If you're reasonably in a dangerous situation, you could commit murder and it'll count as self defence. No one is gonna blame you for murdering someone who kidnaps you but doesn't want to kill you.
@@symphonyofaria yeah I would understand if you killed whoever, but self defense laws are extremely rigid, idk where you are from and I don't think either of us are lawyers, but from what I have heard from lawyers you need to exhaust every other option before engaging in self defense especially if you are using a weapon, so I think any of the guards trying to stop you are fair game, but if you don't have a weapon then you can't snap their neck after knocking them out.
Yeah, I was gonna say, I wouldn’t really count trespassing or even killing to be a crime in that level. Arguably detaching the train cars was a crime since that wasn’t really necessary and blocked the railroad
You can do Mendoza without performing any illegal actions ("crimeless" in terms of the game mechanics, but technically setting a leaking propane where target smokes so he dies from explosion would still be considered a crime). Since starting in a disguise and throwing propane is not illegal you can use propane for both targets and without trespassing. Yates and Tamara cross paths near asado pit and Tamara's table where she smokes, so you can start in waiter or asado chef disguise or in Midnight Black suit at the shrine, light asado pit (either with The Big One, with the torch or by having asado chef light it himself) and then set the propane in the right place and time both targets by bumping into them so Yates and Tamara walk by propane when she is smoking.
Moving the propane tanks probably is a crime, but not for the reason you think. The whole premeditated murder through propane tank is just kinda impossible in these circumstances. Agent 47 could not possibly know the target would smoke right there, only we have that knowledge and are premeditating it. 47 simply moved an object. Negligent homicide is possible however. It's a dangerous object being improperly stored with little regard for public safety. Another thing of note is that hitman likely does not have the right to move the propane tank in most scenarios, but since he is simply relocating the propane tank elsewhere on the premises, it's not quite stealing, but it could possibly fall under criminal mischief.
Alternative for Berlin, you could just wait for 5 different targets to become suspicious of you. Since they're all guards and enforcers for all disguises, they will attack you first and you can act in self defense. But since you already got it down to 0 I guess it doesn't matter. Could be useful information for any other map with guards as targets though.
That could be seen as provoking a fight and you don't get to do that then claim self defense. The other guy could still get hit with an assault charge but so will you if you swing back or possibly murder if you kill him. However, some states in the US have mutual combat laws so neither of you could get hit with anything so long as no other laws were broken.
@@jamesbailey6257 well I present to the jury the evidence of these earpieces and illegal weaponry such as high explosives and concealed firearms. That’s pretty damning proof they were working together as assassins
1:27 I'm just imagining everyone wondering why Agent 47's taking so long, meanwhile he's just mopping floors and cleaning toilets until he gets promoted to a high enough level worker.
what i like about this is that he added a crime for the biker spawn, but what i want to see is how it takes place as you being a hitman, so as realistically as possible, just starting a level is a crime since accepting a hitman contract is illegal alongside being a hitman, but this is my favorite variation because they dont just say like other youtubers "so i dumped this DUCK BOMB HERE and BLEW THEM UP but dont worry! i didn't see a red symbol!!!" so yeah, cheers to this guy to being logical yet making it fun aswell
I kinda think that every kill Hitman does on targets, counts as a pre-meditated homicide (or whatever is the equivalent legal term in the country where it takes place) because usually he has been paid to kill these people (or it is part of his revenge plan) possibly apart from self defense when it comes to targets that were actively trying to kill the Hitman even before he went after them (Which does show up occasionally in the games. Notably a lot in Hitman Absolution.) So even if you kill two targets at one time, usually that just makes it two separate acts of murder that would be counted separately in court. But there are plenty of creative "accidental kill" playthroughs that at least could leave the authorities thinking that no crime took place since the victims got into freak accidents. But all in all, this video is a fresh way to look at challenges in the game, since the "oops all accidents" thing has been done a lot.
47 doesn’t get the money until the target is dead. He gets the money whether he kills them or not no technically he could be charged for fraud but not premeditated murder.
in hitman 3 you could reasonably argue that in Berlin and in the Train 47 is acting as self defense : as he is either hunted by assasins sent by the ICA or kidnapped as a test subject (and therefore is not trepassing, he is sent there by force) tbf this would not count for killins Soders, as Soders himself is not armed and not directly threatening 47 life when they meet (he is simply offering him the possibility to erase his memories) but as long as some providence guard try to shot him, 47 have the right to defend itself. (ideally by knocking them, or as a least resort, by shoothing them) for all others missions where he is either on the offensive trying to destroy ICA/Providence or having contracts to kill some specific target : yeah, obviously pretty huge crimes.
@@wikipiiimp9420i think you a little confused Soders was the dude you killed in Hokaido and the ICA director the dude your talking about is Arthur Edwards otherwise known as The Constant.
@@doomslayer8025 Not really fraud. He's not hired to kill, he's hired to ensure they die. (especially since part of their MO is to ensure kills can't be traced to begin with, so logically they can't use murder as a criterion for payment)

Imagine if someone did a license mod like in the inventory it will look like ether’s blue card and once you take out your gun you will be allowed legally you can take it from other people it is the lvl 15 unlock of Vermont where you can find a license pretty much everywhere i mean every place in heatman
@@TrumpislyingWell, having a firearms license might grant one an excuse to carry a firearm with them, but it certainly wouldn't grant one with an excuse to whip it out unprovoked, take it into secure locations (y'know, the sorts of places where you need to get frisked to enter), or generally use said firearm without a good enough excuse.
In chongqing, it's not illegal to pick up the dongles. But even so, you could probably just distract npcs to open the doors. You can then fire people to make someone mad enough to kill Royce for you. I can't remember if it's a crime to use that terminal tho
@jamesp.6753 The 'firing everyone' route requires several crimes as well. You need to incapacitate the visitor, strip them of their clothes, perform identity theft, break into their hotel room, steal their stuff from their hotel room, and also the services provided by the ICA are very illegal as well so turning up to them as a visitor would probably count as conspiracy to aid murder or something like that
@@thedogebehindtheslaughter6086The terminal is definitely unethical, but if you do the mission story, then it is neither trespassing, nor an illegal action to take. By setting up the kill with the firing terminal as the investor, you could avoid explicitly breaking any laws in the death of Imogen Royce. Assuming of course you ignore the actual legal battle of determining intent, the action itself is completely crime free.
Yo Onion, I just discovered your channel lately because I've gotten back into Hitman, and I gotta say I really love your content already. You've put a smile on my face in all of the videos I've seen and that you've definitely earned a sub from me. Keep up the good work man.
i somehow dont think any court would buy “but the propane tanks that i explicitly threw because i knew the victim smokes there were loud and visible so its not murder” lmao
Onion has made multiple videos, failing his own challenges. This was an attempt to not fail, but he still failed the question regardless.@@grimmsoul3096
Yeah I think it’s justified that you weren’t trespassing when kidnapped. If they try to shoot you down for getting out of the surgical room, Romania will let you call it self defense.
even if the game doesn’t consider it a crime deliberately placing propane tanks in places where you know people will be smoking with the intention of killing them is absolutely a crime. it is also 2 separate crimes to kill 2 people with one action. that’s still 2 counts of murder. it doesn’t become one murder because you did 2 at once
Next, go for least time in prison, i.e., if five crimes happen to get you somewhere, but it's like five trespassing crimes, it's better than one murder
Apex Predator is interesting. The method employed here seems dangerously close to criminal negligence, but I can see the argument for it being crimeless. However, an approach that is certainly harder, but definitely crimeless, is letting the targets see you and draw their weapons. They are there to kill 47 without due process or just cause, so not only is fighting them considered self defense, but because you can reasonably believe they have lethal intent, you can defend yourself with deadly force, which yes, is also the case for the mission area's local laws.
agree, especially since most guards drop items such as explosives, poisons or other pretty sussy objects that are not supposed to be used by a legitimate guards and are more assasin stuff so you can have evidence that those dudes where assasins sent there to kill you, and that you where acting on self defense.
Interestingly, the "starting disguised in a location" actually still, in-lore, is considered to be "47 infiltrated and stole the outfit offscreen before you took control of him" (essentially playing the mission from the normal entry point, just timeskipping ahead), meaning it still violates Suit Only, does _not_ get you past enforcers, and - for the purposes of this challenge - counts as a mugging.
A note about Dartmoor, because 47 would have had to know what would happen if he fixed that random piece of equipment, that would make him guilty by conspiracy, aiding and abetting, or even make him an accomplice to the murder. Now the game is a bit strange about it, but given that the detective is given free reign of the house to investigate, I don't think getting the cane and entering the secret room would be a crime, so by starting as the detective and recovering the letter from the secret room, you can rule Zacharys death a suicide demand the Edwards file as payment before Carlisle kills herself, which is done completely of her own volition. This gets you off the hook for everything, no trespass, no murder, no conspiracy to anything. It's actually unique in that, in every other mission, even kills that 47 doesn't directly commit, he's still clearly guilt for it. But in Dartmoor all he does is ask for the file he wants and give her the obvious explanation of her brothers death. You do this in a room full of witnesses, all of whom are armed and could intervene in any crimes, but even they would agree 47 did nothing. He even didn't coerce her into it, frankly on my playthrough I was kinda shocked she did. It's the only death I can think of that 47 is 100% innocent in
I would argue that giving someone info with the knowledge that them having it might lead to murder, could get you an accessory or if you're unlucky a premeditated murder charge. Though I'd say while it was criminal negligence on your part on where those tanks were placed the blame falls on the smokers for failing to notice and take the proper precaution against being blown up.
Kills under self defense are not a crime. On Berlin, you showed a method where all targets are with you in a room, and try to kill you. I think that should be a 1 or 0 crime run with that
That particular method requires the Club Owner's disguise to work, which you'd need to knock him out and impersonate to do. You can activate the lure without the outfit but if you aren't sitting there with the right outfit only the leader of the Agents will walk in so it won't work, and you'll still be committing more crimes overall.
wouldnt none of the kills on the berlin assassins count as crimes due to self defense? if you have enough evidence to suggest that you truly are in danger then you can kill them no problemo, given you commit 0 crimes beforehand in order to warrant the "self defense". big thoughts that come to mind are dressing as Marcus stuyvesant's personal guard and doing the banana trick(although the question of whether you can access all the bananas there is something else) and then killing carl ingram by banana'ing his skydiving experience(although actually doing so would probably take a few crimes in the state of California or something) maybe ill try some of that although idk if I'll be able to
The banana trick would still be illegal. Something either along the lines of wilfully endangering the life of another, or manslaughter. Or, at bare minimum, littering/fly tipping (also illegal).
@@ParasocialCatgirl the main problem with the banana trick in hitman is that bananas make you fall and you are attempting for it to result in death. that is murder, if not manslaughter due to neglect given how dangerous bananas are in that world and how proper disposal should be done for every single one. however. in real life nothing happens so very very technically it is not a crime, and ill instead just chalk it up to Marcus and that lady's bad balance and my very poor choice of where to eat a banana and leave the peel
@@pyramidteam9961 it doesn't matter whether you are actually in danger because the law already provides protections to those who react due to a belief that they are in danger. coupled with strong evidence that you are, in fact, in danger(which clearly you have it or else why even) then the law will probably just let you off free or with a slap on the wrist.
@@dinobirdsboi9551not in Germany. Self defence is a thing but only as a last resort due to imminent danger. Since 47 could at any time leave the area, what he is doing is not self defence, it is vigilantism and murder
While i don't know the full legality of these weapons in their respective locations, using the Shuriken and Tanto to kill the two targets could be considered "brandishing a deadly weapon". The tanto I'm iffy on since iirc they are ceremonial in nature, but shurikens are possibly illegal for a person to own
Technically it'd be 21 crimes, clearly stated in the end mission " go back to being a hitman. " this means every time he entered a mission, he's contracted to kill these people which is illegal. Being a hitman is illegal, the crime is labeled contract killing. This means for every target he's had, there is a sufficient charge or charges of contracted killing and as there are 11 targets in the whole of hitman 3 ( not counting the other 5 he didn't kill in Berlin ) thus, 11 charges of contracted killing. As well as this; In Chongqing China, when 47 becomes a Data Analysist, he is to be charged with breaking and entering, trespassing and stealing a disguise since he is wanted by the ICA and the Facility Imogen Royce resides in is owned by the ICA. 47 Was fired by the ICA before that mission so it is impossible for 47 to gain a job there after being fired and after the mission he is still wanted showing it was not taken down. In addition to this, 47 is apart of a criminal organization which is a few charges. The official bio for the ICA ( International Contracting Agency ) is this: " The ICA was Agent 47's employer. It is a multinational, extremely well-funded neutral (yet criminal) organization independent of the world's governments, with ties to various groups and individuals, providing assassination and mercenary services. " This shows he is apart of an illegal mercenary group that contracts murders for people. It is also an organization which has not been approved by the government which is illegal and the bio calls itself an organization thus, they are going against the government.

Obviously intentionally making someone accidentally kill themselves is first degree murder, you planned it, you wanted it to happen, and it happened, the means of how the victim was murdered doesn't matter. Also, 47 is kidnapped in the last mission, so no trespassing. It is, however, illegal to willingly join providence as their new assassin.

Sun and water or we get really sad and wither away. Generally enjoy being talked to. Many of us don't leave the one corner of the house we're in for long periods of time. Y'know?
I think in the first mission where you go behind a wall to wait for the guards to cool down that would be considered hiding from the police even if there braindead. And for the guard in Berlin although they could claim you punctered the canister I think the guard might be charged yes the dead body for not checking there sorroundings and putting people in lethal danger
In the vineyard, if you follow the special wine bottle story and assist to the meeting, Yates gets the blonde killed by a guard and takes Diana as a hostage. And if you save her, she ends up killing Yates. If you follow this course of action, tho, you'll still be committing quite a few crimes (disguising as the sommelier + knocking out at least two guards while Diana deals with Yates. If you don't, I assume they'll kill her and you'll fail the mission). But at least you didn't kill them! Also, in the train, you can inject The Constant. He'll lose his memories and you didn't kill anybody
You’d be charged with 1st degree murder. You initiated the suicide intentionally. That’s still a crime. Its like how you would be charged with murder if you have someone a gun and told them to shoot themself. Still a crime.
@@KansasNationalist Obviously we know that he was killed by poisoning but it's possible for a first time player to legitimately think it's a suicide depending on what evidence they miss. Her hearing that and near-immediately deciding to commit suicide is on her, not the PI that bungled the investigation. At least, not criminally, maybe civil court would have consequences.
This is a pretty narrow definition of crime, hypothetically if 47 really were arrested he'd have all kinds of charges against him without even considering what you actually do during the missions, just the fact that he's in the business of murder for hire, charges like: - criminal enterprise - conspiracy - conspiracy to commit murder - Illegal posession of a firearm - posession of explosives - charges related to not paying/filing taxes - charges for all of his travel to various countries using forged documents I'm sure someone more familiar with criminal law could come up with dozens of additional charges.
There's a video by the youtuber Cassidy that shows how you can eliminate targets without getting your hands dirty at all. If those methods were used, the crime count would drop lower.
With the whole getting into a biker club thing its really easy to get in. i got invited for simply being a mechanic and helping them out at times for a case of beer for simple jobs not everyone in a biker club is a criminal some people are just bartenders, artists, mechanics. Never officially joined but sorta just hung out every now and again and turned down a couple invites from some of the guys
So getting kidnapped is a crime while stealing personal info from a safe is not and the serum from the train is also marked illegal so that should be a crime too
You are impersonating a private investigator, not a police officer. This may be two crimes but I'm not sure about the UK. First, you're impersonating a particular person, which is probably some sort of fraud. Many jurisdictions require PIs to be licensed, so you are possibly practicing without a license as well.
If you start as a security guard in Hush's building, bring a pistol and an EMP device, you can do a "crimeless" Chongqing by initiating a conversation between Hush and Imogen and dropping the EMP device near a propane flask where they meet. Holding a pistol as a guard is not a crime, so shooting the drones won't be an issue. You don't ever have to trespass either.
Shooting the drones is obviously illegal, because it is destruction of the property of someone else (royce). Also, I don't know what dropping a EMP next to a propane tank should do, because a Propane tank got no kind of electronic inside of it. You are maybe talking about a remote taser, or a remote bomb, but it would be illegal still because you set up a trap in which 2 people die. So it would be 2 counts of first degree murder 5 counts of destruction of property 1 count of possession of an unregistered firearm most likely 1 count of criminal impersonation (although this creator says that 47 worked his way up the corpo ladder yada yada we know that is wrong and so is using a disguise also a crime and probably should also be counted as 1 count of petty theft but because we're not seeing 47 steal the disguise I let it slide) So that would be still many crimes, playing Hitman without any felony commited is just impossible.
@@krass9178 The emp actually works fine in detonating propane. Try it. It can also be used in electrocution kills. Also, going by your logic, this video itself is flat out impossible. Germany has laws against littering, so even throwing those propane flasks would not be a valid strategy. The main thing to keep in mind is, we're going by what the game sees as illegal. The game is set entirely in a fictional universe that's loosely based on ours. Law, law enforcement and government is very different in that universe. Something can be a crime in the real world and be perfectly fine in Hitman's. Or vice versa. Try playing these games. They're actually good fun. And you may know what you're talking about once you've spent some time in these games.
Wouldn’t coming into the level with the intention to kill not be conspiracy to murder? This would cause 1 crime per map, or 1 per target depending on country
It would be multiple crimes. Not only conspiracy to murder, but also 1st degree murder x number of targets because you came there with the intention to kill.
accident kills via environment is property damage and you're still knowingly setting up a trap, so it's second degree murder. every time you grabbed something, you stole, and every start disguise is impersonation.
You get even less crimes if you count mass murder. Mass murder: the act of killing a number of people in a single incident or over a short time period, involving more than two victims. This only counts as ONE crime. I think
In Mendoza, there’s a way for Yates to get his henchmen to execute Vidal at a secret meeting, which (to my knowledge) requires 0 crimes being committed. You can then give the papers to Yates’ wife and get her to kill him for you (like you did), and that should get you 0 crimes for that 😊
It's fortunate for you that 'leaving the scene of the crime' only counts if you were ordered to stop by a police officer. Since you were stealthy on your missions, and only met security guards, I think that you were safe from this crime. Depending on the interpretation of 'endangerment'/'reckless endangerment' by the judge, all the propane tanks throws and innocent gun firing afterwards would probably count as crimes...
