How Many Fiery Inscriptions is Too Many? | Lord of the Rings Draft | LOTR | MTGA 

I never liked drafting until I watched a vintage cube draft video of yours because a friend wanted us to play with his, I managed to make the storm deck, went 3-1, and I loved it. Now I'm watching every single draft video you make. I'm drafting LOTR like crazy in Arena, and I'm actually getting better at it, and I'm loving this format thanks to you.

I think there might be a few ways display of power can be a total blowout, maybe in other formats: If you cast an instant or sorcery and it gets countered by a "normal" counterspell, you can copy the counterspell AND your spell for 1RR which is pretty insane. Also you can copy a burn spell and any spell and effect that are on stack copying it. Can't wait to see jank bombardment decks with it.

I really like the format. It's well paced and draft is fun.

I've been pretty happy with a copy of The Black Breath main deck, and it seems like it would have been pretty decent here. It's not something I'm going out of my way to play, but when you have tempt incentives and spell incentives, it's not hard to get enough of a card out of it that it ends up pretty good. It's pretty rare for it to be completely dead, and the creature sizing is small enough in this format that it's not uncommon for it to be pretty incredible. It would have been great against the last opponent, for example. Anyway, thanks for the content. It's great as always.

excellent vid! you missed that mount doom would have had GROND as a legendary artifact, that would have won you every game 100% accurate prediction. well maybe not but it woulda been fun if it worked once

I had a 2 fiery inscription deck that failed hard because I tried to force it and didnt have enough early game defense I guess. Interested to see how this goes

I have a question: In a game I had Trebuchet and I wanted to sac the token after damage to an improvised club, but Arena didn't give me the opportunity... How do you make that work?

Yeah I don't think Fiery Inscription is playable outside of UR. BR will do better with just more creatures and removal, 3 mana to not affect the board ever is no good

You had lethal at 31:23 , if you played a land you could have used Foray of Orcs to deal 8 damage to your opponents face and then sacrificed a creature for an additional 4 damage.
