Would anyone would have done another smite instead of foray? Being in an aggro deck, sniping for 3 with 2, rather than only being able to hit for 2 even though you get a 2/2?
i think its close but here are my 2 thoughts - a) this couldve been partly to hate-draft his opponents where foray would be far more brutal than smite and b) he may have not minded a more expensive spell considering his low end curve, the only other expensive creatures he really had were like faramir, shadowfax and erkenbrand so the more expensive spell isnt a big issue, especially if he can curve out 2/3 drop into foray kill a blocker which is brutal. still not 100% sure its the right pick but yeah
They don’t mess with the randomness of the packs. These are pro players and sometimes coincidences like that happen. Interfering with the contents of the packs can throw off players understanding of the statistical side of the game and their pick orders.
All these videos were uploaded at the same time, spoilers everywhere, no organization, a complete mess! Do you care to acquire viewers at all? This is the first time I've ever cared enough to watch a PT and I can't say I'll ever be excited to try and figure out a mess like this again.
