I found your video in my feed as I am an iris lover too. I'm a long time "Fraghead" since the days we were called "Perfumistas"! I recommend sniffing Masque Milano L' Atessa and Carolina Herrera Iris Empire. I also love Infusion D'Iris absolue, Dior H. Intense, Chanel no 19 and Poudre and Guerlain Iris Ganache, though it's sadly discontinued. There are so many left to try!
Hiris from Hermes is absolutely required reading for any iris lover. I enjoy it because it isn’t very powdery. It’s more of an earthy, vegetal iris on account of the carrot and omission of violet. The notes listed on fragrantica and other sites seem to have changed recently though, I don’t think they are correct. Anyhow it is a clean, cool smell to me. You might like it :) I am currently looking into Iris bleu gris from Maitre Parfumer Gantier. Seems to be another iris with minimal powder this time backed by green and citrus notes.
I actually tried it recently, but only in store, and didn't find Hiris too exciting. I sometimes have a problem with too much earthiness and carrot seed. Thank you for commenting! It is always great fun to read.
I love Prada Iris infusion too. I find Tiffany Intense is a great perfume with Iris as its heart note. Today on holiday in Nice i tried Chanel 1957 which was beautiful and now on my wish list.

What great timing for this video, I was just pulling out my Iris fragrances for Spring. If you haven't tried the following they are worth a sample. Baruti Dama Koupa Ormande Jayne Vanille D Iris Ramon Monegal Impossible Iris Houbigant Iris des Champs Naomi Goodsir Iris Cendre. Most Maison Violet perfumes have varying degrees of Iris and are simply beautiful. Just stumbled across your channel and look forward to your future content.
Have tried Impossible Iris but if I remember right I thought it was a bit cold. I actually have a decant of Iris des Champs and really like it although it, too, is on the cold side. Very crispy and elegant. The others I have not tried but will look out for them! Never tried anything from Maison Violet, at least that I can remember.
I just bought a bottle of Iris Poudre (Frederic Malle) that I’m looking forward to. My other Irises are No 19 Poudre, Féminin Pluriel (MFK) and Iris Prima. I like Iris Prima, but I have to be in the mood for it’s leather note. I only wear it about 3 times a year. Normally I don’t keep fragrances in my collection that I wear that infrequent, but I keep it because it is beautiful and I love it’s homage to ballet. I want to get a bottle of Chanel No 19 EDP, and I think that will be enough for my Iris fix -at least for now. Although I really would like to get my nose in Iris des Champs by Houbigant. It seems to be in the top of a lot of people’s favorite irises list. Wonderful video. Thanks.

Loved your video. Feel the same about Silver Mist. This fragrance, Hiris and Bas de Soie all smell a bit like dirty earth to me. I love Prada and 19Poudre. Did you try Van Cleef Bois D'Iris? It's great.

I want to try a couples🙂 Here's my fav iris scents: -Lancôme, Iris Dragées -Celine, Black Tie -Guerlain, Iris Ganache -Dior, Bois d'Argent -Guerlain, L'Heure de Nuit -Trussardi, Aperetivo Porta Nuova Did you tried the Trussardi one??? Really good and not so expensive on Fragrancebuy! Make me think of Iris Dragées with a touch of rich amaretto. Delightful! Oh and Black Tie is too die too, with a load of vanilla. Really classy! Don't like when the iris is dry, or smell too much like pencil shaving, like Dior Homme Intense or Bois d'Iris frim Van Cleef. Anyway, thank you for sharing!😀
Have tried Black Tie! It is stunning but quite weak. I used up a decant in weeks. But a great easy-wear! Suitable for any occaision. There are a few of your faves that I have not tried but will try to get my nose on them. Thank you for commenting! So much fun.
Whenever you'd like to trim down the Iris collection and since you appear to also like powdery scents, one of my faves is Iris Malikhân by Crivelli. Dior Homme Intense also is magnificent.
I forgot to mention that one! Love it. Just went through a sample and found it really interesting, unlike the others in this video yet beautiful. Good projection and longevity too! Might need to make an iris video part 2. Cannot get enough of iris!

I like Prada Infusion d’Iris the original very much, and love the Eau de Parfum Absolue version (orange flower, iris, benzoin, tonka bean and Madagascar vanilla). Another love is Chanel’s La Pausa EDP, which I think is similar to 28 La Pausa EDT, and has amazing longevity.
Have you tried L’atessa by Masque Milano??? Iris is my favorite note and that fragrance DOES IT for me! Also as far as popular houses that don’t have iris fragrances, I don’t think Parfum De Marly had one either, or Initio. Byredo has one but it escapes me
Yes I have, but it was a long time ago. Back then, I didn’t love it. I see quite a few find it similar to Irisss from Xerjoff and that one was too hardcore for me. Very dry and sharp and earthy, cold! Will try and get my nose on it again. I always revisit fragrances and sometimes I notice that my taste has changed.
Iris is also my obsession🥰 I've got 19 Chanel (stron green scent), Iris poudre and L'eau d'hiver FM, Prada La Femme and Absolu, Iris prima Penhaligon, Iris Malikhan MC, - but my most fave are Astrophil&Stella Paris Cheri, Lua Xerjoff and Jardin de Macarons LSDN❤🔥Strongly recommend to try them😉
Loved your video! I also have Chanel 19 Poudre! If you spray more than 4-5 times, scent lingers! l also have Escentric Molecules 01+Iris and Chanel Venice-Paris EDT that feature iris.
I’m curious to smell Molecule 01 + Iris from Escentric Molecules. Have you tried it? I bought Honore Delights after listening to your review. I really enjoy it. Also, I just remembered that Ex Nihilo has a new iris perfume called Iris Porcelana.
Molecule 01 + Iris is a great fresh fragrance. Got a decant and quickly went through it. The longevity isn’t great though. You need a lot. Iris Porcelana I have tried in store and was not impressed. Now I got a travel size of it with another purchase but might not keep it. Honoré Delights is great but for some reason I don’t wear ir very often.

And I’ve got about 80 bottles of niche I hardly ever wear and would never be replaced. The few I shall always replace is Iris Malikhan, MFK gentle fluidity silver , Ganymede by MAB. Absolutely nothing else ! I’m a very fussy bugger btw.

I did give up Chanel 19 Poudre and ACA's Bois D'iris because of terrible longevity and complete absence of projection. For this reason, I would not even try Iris Prima even thou I'll prob love the scent itself.

I haven't really got hooked on any of their fragrances. Don't own any right now. But Volutes is a little interesting. I should probably look into this house again, maybe I just wasn't ready at the time.

I've tried 3 frags from Dusita and they're less than underwhelming. The iris scent was not one of them, but I will never pay even 1/3 of the money she asks for her perfume.
