The number of children don’t matter as much as the number of other parents. Having 3 kids with the same person vs 3 kids with 3 different mothers or fathers will make me look at you completely differently.

It's a whole lot of responsibility for a guy to take responsibility for all them kids. He will be expected to financially cover those kids. But won't be allowed to discipline them. If they split he SOL with no right to the kids. Don't do it fellas.

If you date someone with kids, just know there's more than just you in that relationship. If he or she has 1, there's 4 people in that relationship. There's you, her (or him), child and the other parent. Last time I checked, I don't want four people in my relationship Im not dealing with it.

My "kids" are GROWN! And I'm divorced. However, everyone with kids that are dating are NOT looking for someone to father their children. The fathers can be and are active fathers in the children's lives.

so the problem with dating someone with kids sometimes is that the mothers want the man to be daddy ,step up and fill the role but there are those situations where the man tries because it's being requested or expected yet they being the man or woman are left to parent while at times being told you can't say or do that because it's not your kid

When I was a sophomore in college I DID ask out a woman with a kid. She declined, and looking back, that was a tremendous favor she did. I never asked another again and it wasn't personal. Because continuing in college, then grad school, and then after - my preferred number became ZERO and I realized how peaceful things were. Also, if I was working my butt off and being pretty selective and safe, why shouldn't I at least expect someone to be selective with their health & bodies too. And with that mindset, I didn't mesh with certain women or folks, and as time went on (finishing school, working) the type of women around me were just... different. The woman I went out with were NOT baby-mommas or interested in being one. They were more interested in being a wife and being on the same page about the future. And the friends I had were not stupid 'f-boys'. So... it isn't that I even had the opportunity to ask out or reject reject baby-mommas, they just weren't around my circle and even if they were, I wouldn't have been interested. No offense. I'd wish her and the families the best. And that was back in my 20s. Fast-Forward to today, where I do have a wife & kids, it's irrelevant. If heaven forbid something happened and I was single, I imagine it depends tremendously on the individual. Regardless of the number, I'd imagine there would be strict boundaries and expectation setting. At least on my end.

My wife of 10 years has three children with three different men. The most difficult part of being a stepparent is when it comes to disciplining the children. Even though you are that male figure that the children need in their life. We still understand that we did not take part in creating these beautiful Lil ppl and but we are playing a part and filling a space that ultimately someone could not fulfill. It can get extremely hard because I have no children of my own. But I am a great uncle and an outstanding Godfather. So based on how I deal with the children in my family my wife always tells me that I would be a great father ! and it really hurts her that at this point she can no longer have children because that's the one connection that we will never have.😢 a part of me do feel like I'm missing out on being a father and experiencing fatherhood. But I knew ahead of time what I was getting into. Being that my wife was older and knowing her situation as far as child-bearing is concerned. But knowing all of that and still I wouldn't change it for the world. I have a great relationship with my stepchildren. And they love me just as much or even more than their actual fathers. Because I stepped up to the plate and I took on the responsibility set another man could not or didn't want to do. N being Muslim we look at it as when it's time for my daughter to get married she look for the qualities that I possess and she know what quality she wants in her husband. And for my stepsons they see how I treat their mother, so I'm giving them the best representation on how to treat their wives when it's their turn

From my experience, it depends on the relationship between the kids and their father and the mothers mentality. A woman with a good mentality would make it easier to accept any number of kids as long as it's affordable for the two of us. But with the mentality that many woman exhibit nowadays, they wouldn't be worth dating even if they had no kids.

I think the biggest thing we have to consider is if you have kids and with multiple people the goal is to find out their mental state because we all care about stability. If the person doesn’t have nothing going on for themselves or isn’t in a healthy state of mind then base it of that not the kids. Coz what if the person has 3 4 kids but the only reason they are single is because the partner died? Learn the story and learn the state of mind people are operating in first. As a 40yr married mom of 2 who used to date men wkth kids back in my 20s; No on can understand another parent like a parent. Dating someone who isn't involved much with their kids makes them more available to date you but it's a turn off at the same time that they're a deadbeat. If they're involved and coparenting well it shows maturity and responsibility, yet they will often have to choose the child over you which sucks and if you're not a parent it may be hard to deal with.

As a mother with 2, I wouldn’t feel comfortable dating a man without children… now if he have multiple children and he take care of his children and him and the children’s mother (meaning he only has to have 1 baby mother) a good coparenting relationship and there’s no feelings involved then I don’t see an issue with it. Now if there’s going to be drama or the kids are disrespectful then it’s not going to work.

You should be focused on trying to find someone who is your equal: if you’re hard working and ambitious, if you don’t have kids, if you’re religious etc… The older you get, say, 25 and up, is when you should start considering being open to more options.

It depends on the caliber of her baby fathers. If she or her children's fathers are ghetto or worldly; it's a "no". If she and her children's father are spiritual and devoutly pious people; then I can do it I look for women who are affiliated with spiritual movements (Nation of Islam, Hebrew Israelites, Jehovah's Witnesses, etc) that hold their members accountable for how they represent them.
