@Westcoast @Westcoast Saw, Ok Gordy! I’m 57 British and British and just been mind blown by this! Just incredible. What I would not give to fly over and work with you guys for a Once in a lifetime experience Humbled I am
Back when i got out of High-school in 84 i went to work in Corey and son's log yard in Port Angeles and we still got old growth in at that time. Some of the Spruce and cedar were 12 to 15 ft through! I bumped knots and cleaned the hair and bucked when the scalers wanted a hook or something taken off to make it pretty for the overseas buyers! I had a 056mag i used and a 084 for the huge stuff! Good stuff Gordy thanks for sharing!
Monumental! The trees AND the men! Okay, okay. I did that one already. But still... As a carpenter I'm fond of saying "they don't grow trees like they used to". Damn these are big, characterful trees that take some thought. Spruce plantations in Scotland, cut down by harvesters? Lucky if they're 18-24 inches diameter and 60 years old.
So cool! Garrett looks like a fox in a hen house hangin off the flares and touchin big uglys off into the alder and viney! What's the big saw you guys had there Gordy, and 80 or 81 with a 50"?
Great job guys! Hey Gordy, my name is Dylan Mccane I've been a follower of your channel for several years along with Jake's. I recently purchased a sthil ms201tc muffler from you and the bottom completely broke in half in a strange way. I'm an arborist, I was at work and noticed it sounded way different all of a sudden. I take care of my saws meticulously and I also build saws. I emailed your company website but no reply yet, I love the muffler so I was hoping maybe you guys could send me a new one? I sent pictures in the email as well. Thanks Gordy, safe cuttin!!
Yes we will get you taken care of I will be in the office all week if you emailed Us Krista will be on it first thing Monday morning if not call the office number and I will take care of it for you 👍
Thanks a million! It's a really great price for the muffler and super nice quality like the rest of your products. I won't run anything else after bolting that thing on!
It Varys on these most the time on these bigger ones they are going over seas we were cutting lengths of 27’ 33’ 39’ So some of the bigger but ends we were cutting 27’ then maybe a 33 or 39 on second log “if we thought the loader can move it” then mite get 2 more logs after that if we were lucky
That's some of the most ridiculous falling I've ever seen. Do you get paid extra when the trees are insane like that? And what happens to those stumps? Just leave 'em there?
