Level up your anatomy and structural drawing! Lets Draw Some TEETH!!!
In this video we go over the basic anatomy of teeth... How many there are. And how they are arranged.
The goal is to have a simple framework for remembering how to handle this tricky area of the face.
But there is also the question of how much of the teeth you should draw in the first place. So I go over some different examples and how they use the anatomical fundamentals to create final stylised looks.

Thank you so much for this whole series on teeth, I've really been struggling with dynamic mouths and this is a godsend. To my knowledge there aren't any videos that break it down to this level of detail anywhere else

The thing you forgot to explain, that you can see in the last few minutes very well, that the further back, you go, the further inwards turned are the molars. When looking at your character where you see all the teeth it's almost a V shape on the side

Even after watching your video about Art and Family I still can't believe you can be this productive having 3 children, especially since one of them is only 4 months old. If you could bottle that, it would sell like coca- cola. Hope you continue this sort of series with other features of the skulls since characters with skulls for faces never go out of fashion. 😂 Great video, as always! I like to say to keep those coming but since I've learned about you 4-month-old all I can say is thank you and take your sweet time with the next videos. BTW, the zooming in and out could maybe take a bit longer but are a very welcomed addition. Hope it doesn't add too much editing time to your process.

Something I never thought about was that in an older setting like medieval period, the characters will probably have eight teeth on each side, rather than seven. Because they’d still have wisdom teeth. Not something you would have to depict often but still good to keep in mind.

Haha yeah absolutely! Wisdom teeth mixed with a lot of decay and gaps probably! So hard to know what is myth when it comes to things like that
