I really enjoyed this interview. I believe Marsau was being transparent and genuine. He did make some good points. I do believe people can be loyal to fault and blind loyalty can be dangerous. However, you cannot ignore or disregard the obvious when it comes to certain behaviors.

Unfortunately Martell will not be free until he releases the Jezebel he is attached to. His redemption will continue to be stalled until he does so. He will be free, he will formulate an even better relationship with his kids, he and Mel would probably begin to co-parent better, his business relationships will be better. I enjoyed this interview, i have to be honest, Marsau is actually my favorite guy on LAMH even tho sometimes he upsets me. I think he is smart, funny, and keeps it real when necessary. I also believe he admires Mel's strength. I am finally happy that they are holding martell ACCOUNTABLE. I see martell as a weak petty person. And to be truthful looking at him now disgust me. To say i am disappointed in him would be an understatement

First of all Marsau is like Kimmie. He's definitely well spoken, but he's full of it. For the hundredth time the Melometers came about only because we watched the show season after season with Melody being attacked from EVERYONE on the cast and not one person having her back and co-signing Martell behaviors thinking it was funny. It is now obvious how Marsau and the whole cast that saw this revenge pic of Melody is trying to distance themselves from ever seeing or knowing about it because it's now in the court of law. We watched the reunion when Dusty Destiny and the cast thought they had this tea on Melody including Carlos. Now they all look dumb and stupid for believing all the b.s. Martell was saying about Melody including the fact he made her.

Mel invites Kimmie and Tisha to her house for spa day and they start calling her bougie for her wanting to go to galas, and called her post queen for posting on her social media, and then laughs when she starts to cry. I can continue with season 1 and episode after episode. I was merely replying to Marsau saying that Melody sent out her Melometers to attack. She did no such thing. She just had people who saw the unjust and came to her aid. Remember, it was Kimmie who was the fan favorite.

Great interview. I think the fans “Memometors” following Melody’s story are invested because they were formed as sympathizers of her struggles. She did not appear to have any sympathy or empathy from her cast members on a very real issue. She is a single parent who manages to do more than two parent households, with the exception of the two new cast couples. There may be some envy in her popularity and financial success. It appears Melody is the only OG that has successfully used the platform to gain real traction generating a positive financial impact for her family. Especially as a single parent. I’m sure her portfolio provides “T-shirt sales” as a small percentage of her earnings. She is a real Entrepreneur; Seventh Avenue Beauty, Mimosas with Melody, Property Preservation classes, music and recording career, Honorary Doctorate, and building a television network. Sounds like someone who doesn’t have time to be too petty. She’s busy attempting to build generational wealth for her family.

As for Marsau’s epiphany regarding Martell’s actions . It is alleged that Marsau supported Martell in his cheating by serving as governor between for the mistress’s car note payments etc. . Martell’s actions did not just become egregious now . The have been awful even back to when Marsau and Maurice laughed at his action. That’s the kind of friend that will say you try it knowing good and well that they would never and it’s going to ruin you.
