It’s not popular but it is a waste of time doing so because when people make the comparison we all know who we are talking about. Superman instead of Gladiator, sentry, or Hyperion as a prime example and many more but yes there are famous characters in Marvel that DC copies but the character is not popular do to copying. And even if either side copies and the characters are known they aren’t mentioned as much as the original ones from which each comic book copies from

Marvel producers have flat out told the movie they're trying to live up to is the 1st 1978 Superman film. That's what they hold the pinnacle of superhero films.

@anti167 He didn't destroy the city. Zod did whilst fighting him. He clarifies this or atleast tries to when talking to Bruce in BVS. They showed the city destroyed scenes to give Batman motivation against Superman. Even Bruce eventually realized that the city was not Clark's fault
If DC copies anything from marvel , people - "That's why DC's not famous, it always copies , Marvel has original content than DC , and so on . But when Marvel copies from DC , people - "Ohh , Marvel didn't copy it , its just an inspiration , Can't a character be an inspiration of other?? . I've seen that people always criticize DC and hate for no reason at all , specially in India . But they're forgetting the origin of Superhero genre .

Marvel is lucky with their time and their audience. DC's audience are more critical sometimes it helps sometimes it doesn't , they want everything from comics sometimes and sometimes they don't want anything from comics at all and they are also divided too

They didn’t, the dc movie is based on a comic called Batman and Superman and they had a run titled Public Enemies, really good book. The animated adaptation came out in 2009, years before endgame

@@TheMainOne2.0 it does matter when one company does it more, I mean at one point Marvel didn't even try to hide it. For example Deathstroke and Deadpool. Both use guns and swords and have the same name, Slade Wilson and Wade Wilson like atleast be a little original.

Marvel has always been inspired by DC, and DC is okay with it. They are both great superhero genres and comic IPs, and they recognize each other's success and inspire eachother everyday
I always find it so funny when someone says someone copied another scene acting like saving people from space while flying is it not one of the most basic superhero trope

All superheroes have someone who is similiar to them in looks or attributes. Only notable difference between DC + Marvel is the hierarchy and such , as DC has The Presence + Michael (archangel)+ Elaine (Gods daughter) + Lucifer Morningstar etc, characters from the Bible and Marvel has a bunch of Gods they just created.
