another line for if you hard draw into tao: branded fusion into albion (albaz, mirror swordknight) into lubellion (albaz, albion) pitch the tao into mirrorjade (albaz, albion) and revive sword knight, you get your starter without having to normal summon
@@JX1JoJo idk I just thought it would be better to have the Albion back in the ED to send it off mirrorjade to get the search effect, but you’re right I think you could make an argument for both
I really liked this layout of a deck profile. You get to see everything and how it works together instead of saying " I'll show you later what I play with it"
Chimera is my first TCG Deck. I am still improving it and my plays and this helps me out well :) Gonna add some illusions ane runicks to have different variations to play and test :)
I loved the video and the use you give to "Master Tao the Chanter"; When I saw it I couldn't see all the combos that you show in the video, since the combo to summon dragoon came out with the new "Berfomet the Mythical King of Phantom Beasts", I think it completely overshadows "TAO", currently I am studying some way to maximize the use of the extra deck, because sometimes there is not much to fuse, that is why I am using more Despia cards in the Main deck. I hope that in the future the "Illusion" type will increase in number to find more combos. Thanks for the video, PS: dragoon comes out 4 out of every 5 duels, it's very good,
You can also get branded fusion thru the tao send so you bring back the knight use berf to add kitt and then normal kitt if you haven’t normal summoned get branded fusion. Then you use branded fusion make rinnbrum now your board doesn’t care if it gets nibbed and also you get a follow up from the gazelle when it was used as a fusion material.
In combo #3, when Berfomet is on the field, Tao in hand, Sword and CF on GY, can't they activate Crimson Dragon at resolution there and not miss timing with Hot Red?
Wow, I overlooked this card! Definitely going to be updating my deck now! Also, I would not do the frightfur package with Droll in the format. All too often you'll be left with the inability to play Yugioh.
The package’s primary use is to pay cost, either way droll will happen mid combo regardless if u can line it up as follow up then it’s bothers less. But that’s also why Horus is good so
I play a 45 card deck it's great. I beat a dinosaur end board with appolusia 3x, evolsar laggia, borreload savage 2x, and the 3500 book dino after getting evenly matched and leaving only berfomet fusion on field
Berfomet, can add Springas Kitt. Kitt effect (in hand) special if you control a fusion monster with Albaz material. Kitt effect in field, take any Branded S/T from deck, GY or bannished zone, placing any card from hand to bottom of deck. We can play any branded S/T to follow up or/and protection. In future we have 2 powerful Illusion support, this deck gonna be in fire and little bit toxic. This deck real good target for the next banned list. 😢
I don't play a full Illusion deck, but i do run the engine and I prefer running 2 Springan Kitts over Aluber and Opening. Kitt is searchable off Berfomet and makes one branded fusion a massive power play by going into Rindbrumm, sending gazel, search Mirrorsword, sword SS Berfomet, Berfomet searches Kitt and Chimera Fusion, SS Kitt and searches or recycles Branded fusion, fusion into Chimera, Chimera if ever hits grave can reborn back Kitt and get the train going again.. It's just WAY to good.
Hi Tom, what do you think in playing dragoons? What about playing more branded cards like branded in white, spriggans kit and stuff? Do you think floo is better than chimera?
Curious why you do not include a line to summon Dragoon as it would "just" be one card in the main and extra. It is very hard for most decks to out specifcally purrely.
@MSTTV I've been running versago in the main. Even hard drawing him isn't necessarily a brick and if you draw him and albaz u can hard make dragoon with chimera fusion since he's a fiend
@@MSTTV Hex Fusion with Dragoonm seems like a good option but just wanted to ask your opinion because you are the Senpai. Loved the deck profile also keep up the great work.
I thought Chimera The Illusion Magical Beast reads "This card can attack monsters a number of times each battle phase, up to the number of materials used for it" so you won't be able to then swing directly with the additional swings, no? Am I missing something? Trying to learn the deck so might have missed something with that
So, Illusion Beast has another effect shared with most illusion monsters where it cannot be destroyed by battle, but it also cannot destroy a monster by battle. You are correct that Illusion Beast can attack up to the amount of material used to fusion summon him. Here's the nasty part: After Illusion Beast attacks a monster you can use his other effect where he negates that monster's effect and reduces its ATK to 0. The theory here is you get 4 monsters, one Chimera & 3 Illusion Monsters to use as material and summon Illusion Beast giving you 4 attacks, then attack any monster in face up ATK position that you can live through even if they've got a higher ATK than Illusion Beast since he can't be destroyed by battle, then use the trigger effect to nullify the opponent's monster's effect and reduce its ATK to 0, then just keep punching it 3 more times for the OTK since Illusion Beast can't destroy it, but the Battle Damage still goes through.
Yeah when i was running this build i was absolutely not playing optimally... my inability to see it most likely caused me to drift away from this build and try others. How do you feel about Runick Chimera that some players are using (it's me I'm some players)
runick is nice if u want a little extra control in the hand, its worth it Slipnir helps with the body control being a beast + fusion it opens up lines.
What do you think about the Lines that can go into Dragoon? You and others aren't playing it for example, but then there's people that do, so is it worth it?
Don't play invoked with chimera, your only "good" attributes to fuse with are Light and Wind and you want them in the GY to activate Thier negation/summon effects. Also Alister takes up a normal summon that Gazelle or Mirror Sword would otherwise be... Alister also cannot be used for any of the 3 chimera fusion monsters. I LOVE Invoked but the two engines don't mesh well. I HIGHLY recommend the Frightfur package though... SO GOOD!
@16:25 What stops the opponent from activating Crimson Dragon (a quick effect) on the resolution of Berfo milling to lock you with King Calamity before you get Chimera Fusion (an ignition effect) ? You just get it, set it, and pass at this point.
@@MSTTV I know. The question is HOW you can make the opponent not have a "CL1 Crimson Dragon into King Calamity" when you give them a window to activate it between the resolution of Berfo and the Ignition effect of CF in GY. When you resolve Berfo milling a Fiend, you don't automatically go into an open game state without the opponent playing a quick effect.
@@MSTTV interesting take on TCBOO. saw the 3 super poly in your deck profile. For some reason I frequently lose the die roll and end up going 2nd. So I’m playing Duster to better deal with Rescue and Mannadium going 2nd
The bricks were just bad karma. Feels like someone cursed the deck. I don't think adjusting the deck list would fix THESE bricks. Bricks: 1. 2 crossout, ash veiler with tcboo (no engine) 2. Gazelle Gazelle, Coatl, Mirror, Mirrorsword.(die to any 1 hand trap) 3. IMperm, The end of anubis, Fallen of Albaz, Super Poly, Ash, (no opening play) 4. Berfomet, Berfomet, Crossout, Called by, Ash (No opening play) 5. Aluber, Berfomet, Ash, Ash, Imperm (die to any 1 hand trap)
@@stayflyxx The combo line with the patchwork engine is: Fusion Deploy -> Cart -> Dusk Dragon (using cart and edge imp) -> send garura -> Draw 1 plus add patchwork -> Activate patchwork(add edge imp and poly) -> poly into magnum -> magnum draw 1 shuffling back fusion card of choice. End result is draw 2 and deck thin prior to branded fusion or chimera line.
