i remember an episode when meri told kody that she wanted a baby and he said no. Then a few months later he announced that robyn was pregnant-it showed kodys true colors-about how truely selfish he is.
He said no because he was fed up kody kept begging her to have another baby she denied him on at least 3 occasions so he stopped pushing the issue and moved on no one should have to be for a child
That's true kristina. I was just thinking the same thing. Meri was so heartbroken when he said "no" to another child. Then he turns around and marries another woman who already had 3 children. I don't understand how he could have treated Meri like that. smh

@Mybiz actually they had an episode where they ask the children their opinions about it and all of them stated they would never be in a polygamous relationship. They seemed very adamantly against it.
I would t be surprised if TLC will go to Meri and offer her , her own show . I hope so . Then kody might have to go out there and work to support all his children.
I want to start my own church where women can have more than one husband. One that is good in the sack, one that can fix my car, one to build a nice house/mansion to fit all the men, one that likes to travel, one that is able to have a conversation with a woman without monopolizing it, etc.
If it was any other women in a monogamous relationship and they caught their husbands online in just the intentions and nature and secrecy of these kind of conversations merry had, it would be viewed as cheating by most people, male or female spouses. What really made me mad was when he told her they couldn’t have babies when Robyn said she’d carry their child for her, he said we can’t afford kids right now. Then Robyn got pregnant. And Cody was like “it was meant to be!” And it seriously pissed me off!!

@@cindyreichert3279 They do not encourage divorce. I was lucky my ex (LDS) husband let us get a divorce, a civil divorce. I was too young, 20 when we got married. I didn't know what I was doing. During our marriage (year and a half) I realized I did not want kids of my own. I eventually left Mormonism and removed my name so my name would not support the church in any way.
When Mari divorced hem she knew she wanted out she wasn't happy for long time we could see how she was tired to be on that relationship I'm happy for and i wish her all the best possible on her new life,
What the heck is wrong with his hair?! LOL With an ego like that, you would think he'd be gorgeous, well-groomed, charming, and charismatic. But, he is rather bland, and his hairdo makes him look awful. When he pulled his hair back in a ponytail he looked much better, but he still is far from a heartthrob. Also, I admit that I was surprised that in old photos of him (like his wedding photo with Meri) he looked very cute. But, he has aged, and that hairdo is crazy. Cody, if you read comments from those who watch your show, PLEASE get a decent hairdo!

I always had the feeling that Meri wanted out, she was sad and seemed bullied into behaving/ feeling the way they wanted her to. Even when she bought that house/bed and breakfast you could tell she wasn't present. Good on you Meri for standing strong and venturing out.

@Lippy Witch I have watched this show since it came out and I also realize there's a majority of things we don't see. I am sure ending up divorced or in this situation isn't what she wanted either, but she's been mistreated for a long time. If this is what they show on air just imagine everything she has put up with that they don't show. Meri is my favorite and Kodi is always dismissive of her feelings or really taking her struggles of having an empty nest into major consideration. All the other wives get more attention than her. I am married and fully understand what being commited is, but I also know everyone has a breaking point and shouldn't be unappreciated or cast aside like she has been. Robyn is the favorite.. and like a new puppy she got all the attention and Meri was not given as much attention anymore, and it continued. It's not her fault she has fertility problems and can't pop kids out like the rest of them, but that's no reason she shouldn't get as much attention as the other wives. None of what you are saying is true. Janelle is kind she just won't put up with bullying any longer and Meri knows it. And Meri as the legal wife had to approve every woman who came in. She chose every one if them. If there was someone who wanted in the family and Meri didn't want them, they didnt get in. Meri chose Janelle (aka stole her from her own brother) bc she thought she would be a good addition bc Meri admitted she was not very good with finances and Janelle was extremely good and actually straightened out the family finances. Janelle also had a good job and I believe helped them get back in the black. They all talked about that. Including Kody. Meri used her but didn't realize Janelle would have those beautiful boys that Kody was super proud of. He also really respected Janelle for all she did for their finances and her business sense. He talked about it I believe. Meri saw her "stooge" starting to be truly valued and respected by her husband and her jealousy couldn't handle it.
Meri has always been my favorite! I am so happy she is doing what is right for her. I wish her the best in any and everything that she does. All I wish for her is happiness.
