Ok the media need stop talking about the tigers and let Madge focus on next year. It’s a huge distraction and tell you the truth I’m sick of hearing about it. Go tigers!!!

Not even a Tiger fan but I'm over the moon he didn't lose his job. I wanted all players to be sacked for not wanting to perform every week. We need to stop blaming coaches and start pointing the finger at lazy underperforming players.

Amazed the Tigers fans are not calling for dismissal of the board. It is NOT Maguires fault.

As my old man used to say about poorly performing clubs, "a fish rots from the head down".

Sheens (4 time premiership winner) and Madge (one premiership) doing it their way, not the Tigers (no premierships) way, is the club's only hope for survival.

You can feel sorry for them but it's the way that the game is. Management within clubs should absolutely be as replacable as the players. The fact any club can honestly be that completely stagnant in a limited salary cap-based competition, is almost laughable. I honestly feel for the fans more than anything.

Can I get a job on the Tigers board? Hundreds of thousands of dollars a year to say 'yeah, nah' seems sweet.

It's the same problems the Warriors have had since inception. How are people still in management roles since the beginning. At some point there needs to be a total clean out.

It’s not Maguire.. it’s the whole management of tigers 💀 10 years without a single finals appearance. Broncos missed 2 seasons and we’ve basically cleaned out the closet with players and brung Walters, who has honestly done an exceptional job by doing what other coaches wouldn’t dare to do by playing guys each week to see what’ll work because we are in a rebuilding stage, and by seasons end our defence really did approve so much and confidence was coming back also and gave it to Penrith in both fixtures. A lot more work, yes but improvement also with signings.. Tigers however, lost great players and haven’t really signed good players, Laurie is an exception 🔥 and doueihi needs to play 5/8 but they have to build around them. Tigers really need to change something because if not… I reckon they should honestly be relegated and bring in Redcliff Dolphins and sign Maguire. He deserves a lot more

Lets face it, Michael Maguire kept his job because no one else wanted it. The Tigers are a basket case.

Media hype. I dont care what they say. Wests Tigers players need to step up too. Stop blaming the coach. Also give the fans some stability. We deserve better. I believe in Madge. He is a good coach. 💯

The problem isn't McGuire it starts with Pascoe. The fact they have let so many of there juniors and players go has your your head shaking. They were going to let Tedesco go to potential sign KMH as a replacement, then managed to keep him to let him go a year later just blows your mind. Other names Moses, Tapou, Woods, Farrah, Benji, etc etc. Obviously the 3 club team just isn't working, too many chiefs.

How many rounds will he last next year? Another season down the drain.

Their only shining light at this stage is Sheens.

It's a nice outcome. As a tigers fan, it's feels right and bodes well to give him his last year. Great tactic to stay " out of range" until the meeting too!

The board should be sacking themselves, everyone knows they are a screw up of an administration !! How many good players have they let go over the last 5 - 6 years !!

The problem isn’t with the coach. It lies in moving a bunch of players to different clubs and getting rid of the board/ CEO; only after that is done maybe we Tigers might have a small chance.

Look at the best teams in the comp Rabbits 2 coach’s Roosters 1 Storm 1 Panthers 2 Eels 1 Clubs who have had more then 3 in a short space… Broncos Bulldogs Warriors Tigers … Kinda puts things into perspective

Maguire won a comp so he can't be that bad.

Big call to keep Madge but the players have no choice now .. they have to aim up and Madge also needs to find an 'in' to get the best out of the team.

The leaders in that team need to stand up and lead, they need to want it more than they've ever wanted anything and then show it on the field. Madge seems like he's more passionate than the players

I don’t feel mage is bad coach but he doesn’t have the playing group or culture he’s been trying but it’s a roster change needed not a coach change two many clubs chop and change coach’s and wonder why they can’t get and consistency

How can magg be blamed when the roster he has wouldn’t win QCup, that unless that’s the roster he wanted

As I understand it one of the changes is a closer connection between the management and the football team. We have been doing it the Madge way.

How does he have his job. Every player/team he has coached has complained that he makes them do military boot camps all the time instead of football drills. Heard it from rabbitohs players who Left Because of him before he go the boot the the tigers and now it's obvious that whole team feels the same.

On November 1st the Tigers should go after Brandon Smith, Joey Manu and Angus Crichton for 2023. For next season. Dylan Walker, Tyrone Peachy, Aaron Woods and Blake Ferguson.

As a Tigers fan, I’m disgusted by this & the fact that this now means the club ONCE AGAIN will miss out on the finals 🤨🤨🤨. The whole NRL is 1 step away from being the most laughed at sport in the world , The inconsistency with the rule changes , the over paying of players who are not worth it then don't perform , club management is just a laughable joke , 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ , My solution Pay all players 500k max if they love the sport then they won't care about the $$$ they will play for pride, Bring the old rules back , go and watch games from a few years ago untill now and see the fans love , hype , and passion for the game as opposed to today , Club management They need to look at the future and invest and protect future talent and players you swap and trade players like their trading cards no wonder why players don't respect the jersey they play for also look at the warriors let Shaun Johnson go then he wants to return the management ask the players if they want him back they say no then management offers Johnson a contract , Seriously have loved NRL since I was 8years old but I swear I've lost so much interest in the game
