Only real legends remember the legacy tutorial

I love the fact that in one of the Minecraft books, they actually say to make a spawn pillar

If you are wondering creating a spawn pillar is required as per the official minecraft guide book (the real one)

Fun fact: the legacy console edition of minecraft actually had a tutorial, it was much less annoying, actually taught you redstone and you could just skip the ENTIRE thing by simply leaving the world.

In Walt's defense: 1. Building a spawn pillar wouldn't be a terrible idea with reduced debug info on, if you actually cared about getting back to spawn without dying. A compass works better but that requires iron. 2. Getting wood by going right up to the tree makes it much less likely for you to make some mistake and punch a leaf or lose the wood. 3. Crafting a wooden pick is pretty quick and you'll be much better if you don't have to find it in autocrafting. I've had fastcrafting a wood pick be a life or death thing before so it's definitely possible this can be a real problem. 4. DON'T EAT APPLES. Every apple is a golden apple waiting to be gilded. Trust me I have played UHC survival worlds and getting industrial amounts of gold is easier than getting industrial amounts of apples. Save the damn apples.

I expected the PvP expert to have taught him the most important tactic, trash talking whenever you can, even if you loose

It got pretty funny after being asked on what to do the moment you enter a new word. That said, it really does bring back the time I went through the tutorial as I played Minecraft for the first time--on PS3.

i am outraged at the redstone section. i have done redstone for about 2 years out of the 3 i've been playing and loved it. i am yet to lose sanity at all.

Fun fact: In older versions there was a tutorial but not like that. You had to break a tree then rebuild a broken house and then create a wooden pickaxe and then break stone to create a stone pickaxe. Edit: Wow mom i'm famous and the old console versions were gold.

Ngl, maybe minecraft needs it. This week I played with two ppl who thought you couldnt craft crafting tables and that they only generated naturally and you couldnt mine them. They also thought you mine wood with a pickaxe.
