Those 'Just in Case' parents are an absolute pain. I am now a Swiss pensioner, but believe me I have always lived minimally, healthy and happily. We have no landfill in Switzerland. Lots of love.

Yes! How am I "spending" my time?!? Once it's gone, it's gone for good. I can't buy more at the forever store. That is absolutely confirmation for me to stop wasting time.....AND money...and emotion! Wow how wasteful can one person be? Less is more.

Don't be so hard on yourself! It's incredible to have this realisation, but it can really make us overthink everything and try and find value in every moment of the day. Honestly, I find the most value in the time I don't plan; where I just simply be with myself or others or are immersed in an activity that doesn't have a specific agenda or is fulfilling anything other than my happiness. It's true that we waste a lot of our time, but we still need to enjoy our life. I wish you all the best with this ☀️🦋

I have been living my parents habiats lately and it has hurt me, not helped me. Sometimes we must notice that the people we may look up to are not the best for us.

This is really true. Everyone is doing their best to navigate life, but it doesn't mean those we look up to hold all the answers (including me). I think we need to acknowledge how they have served and helped us, but also look to figure out what works best for us 🌈
