We are potentially wired for love compassion empathy but if we don't receive that we turn to a negative nature. Our degenerate society does not foster love and compassion. Just the opposite. 😢
All true and... many people can't distinguish anxiety (driven by prejudice or media incited fears) from real intuition. So there's gut feeling and sentiments driven by fantasies. You need real connection to separate them.
Beautiful video. Please share the link of the full presentation by Mr Gabor Mate so we can learn more about these topics... That's a great way to keep us connected to your channel and the authors of the messages 😊
I love these videos. I sense that everything you're saying is very much true. But how does one extricate oneself from this awful society we've created, and reconnect with oneself, other people, true meaning, etc.? One cannot simply quit ones job and join some commune. There are bills to be paid, and one has to make a living somehow. Yes, I would want to make change to live a more meaningful life and to experience what it means to be truly connected to others, to experience a sense of community, but how? I wouldn't know how to go about that. Perhaps you could address these practical matters in a future video? That would be awesome. Thank you so much for your inspiring work!
Thank you Michael. Yes, this is quite the conundrum. And it is something I will be addressing soon. The solution is not easy and will require us to create community, something that is inherently difficult to do in an economic system that puts individuals in competition with one another. Thank you for your comment.
Actually you can quit your job and join a commune. I did. But I would not recommend it without doing some research first. In my experience, the one I joined exploited new members for the benefit of long-term members.
