Mothers are always mothers and have that measure and sense of justice. I love it.

She not only knew what was coming she knew who was the aggressor. She also was very patient and gentle in her correction.

This is why it is so important for puppies to be with their mothers and siblings for at least 8 to 12 weeks It helps with confidence too.

Its that gentle push that's funniest to me lol.. Proud of this Mama she's teaching them right..

Love this ! My Malamutes gave birth to 7 puppies last February and the mom corrects them strongly. Sometimes, it's almost scary, very impressive, but nobody gets hurt and the pupps are so calm and well behaved. Those mamas know best ! 🥰

If human parents were as attentive to their kids behaviour and as quick to deal with it, that would be great.

She's careful to correct the right puppy, not the one who instigated play but the one who inappropriately responded to play with actual aggression. Even if you want a cat or dog as a pet, letting them stay with momma and siblings for a long while will do more to form a healthy and well behaved animal than you can accomplish yourself.
