yes stepping out from home is good decision for weak or average minded peoples but strong mind can learn all this easily while staying with parents My advice is build yourself so that you can live with your parents to live your life to the fullest and to experience real complete happiness [ try to stay with them spent your life with them they need you REMEMBER they never left you in your entire life till now so its time for you to return NEVER leave them ] aisa bhi kya he paana hai ki apno se dur ho rho ho aur aisa kuch hai bhi to that is waste. It is. Home, for most people, is the most comfortable place. The city you grew up in could also be in most probably your larger comfort zone. Hence moving out of the home, the city is moving out of your comfort zone

As per my experience leaving your comfort zone is the most important thing and this is what help us to grown up internally actually because when you have your overall responsibility on your arms you learn to manage things properly and more efficiently and it also helps you to manage your networks and other activities that you do to become financially independent

Instead of leaving them ..Help your mom cooking...Wash your own dishes..Cook your food..Manage finances..Do household work..Career and growth is not everything... It all depends on where you are in your life and what you want to do. Some ppl don't have a choice, they have to move out. Anyway, you stay in pg / new place or at your home, you gotta do your chores. If you haven't learnt that home and have led a luxury, all this looks cool to be "moving out & then learning"! I don't know what culture he's trying to promote. To be a grown adult, pick up the responsibility, whether it be at your new place or at your parents place. It can also mean taking care of their parents for some. Stop generalising everything. Cooking food, washing your clothes, helping the dishes, they all are basics and must know, irrespective of where you stay.

Each one of us has different kind of environment at home, desires and beliefs. Based on those you decide your goal in life. For many leaving home can be good, but it doesn't mean that those who choose to stay are wrong.
