Toni Barnett shares her personal story of struggle and hope at the Lockhart Correctional Facility in Texas. Watch as she emotionally talks about the respect and care she's received at the facility.
Toni, watching you speak brought tears to my eyes. I hope you remember me. When you were about 8 I came from Liberia and lived with your mom Mary and my uncle Varney. You were like a little sister to me. Your mom helped me settle in New York like no one else did. We loved and spoiled you. Mary always sang you this song: "Baby face, you've got the cutest little baby face...". Toni, put your trust in God and one day I will find you and cook for you your mom's favorite Liberian dish; jollof rice. I still love you baby girl and God loves you too!
I was released from Lockhart and I believe it was a positive experience. Ms.Colbert was the most awesome woman. They all care and you can actually stop them and talk to them about what is happening or bothering you or just to say good morning.
@@theAteam02 Yep. She tried to burn her bf alive in bed while he slept, plus his houseful of kids. Only 1 child died, only because the others literally scrambled out of the house as flames engulfed the house. Her fake tears, wanting to help others... Nope. Not buying that bullshit.
@@shortcutsunny5900 IDK you were in the home at the time of the incident. There are 3 sides: hers, his, & the truth. There are things that transpired that made the father questionable in the end. And if you weren't there or have in the family knowledge STFU. 😀
