This SUPER CHEAP realistic looking RWD RC Drift Car from LDRC has cool pop-up lights, a built in Gyro and can actually drift! Lets check it out!

Mine came with an extremely overactive and unadjustable gyro that’s extremely faulty as well. Can’t drive it but even with the hood scoop being off center it still looks cool.

My gyro was quite sensitive too, but could still drift it thankfully. Shame yours is no good. Unfortunately there's always going to be some issues with cheaper stuff, as that's why it's cheap I guess. For how crazy cheap this is it definitely looks cool and for me, was surprisingly good fun. 👍 Have you tried adjusting the gyro or contacted ldrc to see if you could get a replacement?

@@DoURC Banggood takes a while to respond. See what happens. When I get a working one I bet rubber drift tires would be better. And with a working and adjustable gyro I bet road tires would be nice on it as well

@workingclassperson2124 Fingers crossed you can sort it. 👍 I think some better smooth drift tyres would be better, as the ones on it are OK, depends what surface you're going to use it on I guess. 👍

Btw the hood scoop is supposed to be off center. That's how it is on the real FC RX-7 Turbo-II, since the hood scoop goes into the top mount intercooler, which isn't centered

Totally agree. Sometimes cheap stuff is absolute junk, but this was actually pretty good and great fun. It's crazy what you can get for little money sometimes. 👍

@bbqchickenlolplayz524 Nice, that would definitely make a difference. For $45 the stock gyro isn't bad though. For RWD it still drifts better than some more expensive drifters. 👍

🤣 Yeah the flip up lights are the icing on the cake. I expected it to be rubbish tbh but was pleasantly surprised. 👍 Granted its no MST or Yokomo etc, but then it's only $45! 🤣

I have got one a few days ago but the headlights dont flip anymore. Do you have any idea why?

Yeah it's probably the arm come off. There is a mini servo that controls them, attached to that is a plastic arm, that goes from the servo arm to the Headlight bar. It's either fallen off or broken. Pretty sure i mentioned it in the video and maybe showed it too. 👍

Hi, nice review, just bought the rx7 with gyro as my first drift rc Do you think i can run both of them with my gf/friends if I also buy the 86? I'm thinking to buy the second one without gyro because of course cheaper and I don't want it to break It is impossible to drift without or just harder? I like the challenge 😂

Thanks very much 👍 Yeah you should be able to run them together without issue, generally the receiver is bound to 1 transmitter, so having two of the same RC's should be no issue. RWD with no gyro is very hard to drift tbh, as it'll just want to spin out all the time. For $40 I'd get it with gyro. Hope that helps. 👍

@LorenzoClara97 Ah excellent, hope you enjoy them. Mine has been fine, only issue I had was with the lights popping up. For $40 I was amazed it was as good as it is tbh, I tested it with gritted teeth and then was like, this is great fun! 🤣 Gave it to my 7 year old so he can become the next Drift King! 🤣🤣🤣👍

@@DoURC WOW, really? That's impressive! I was about to order a WL k969 & then I saw this, would you say this might be better or could at least compete? I know the k969 is 4wd and the diffs are locked

@mark8menace I've no experience with the WL tbh, so hard to say. This is RWD though, so you'll get tighter turns and drift properly, 4WD is just power sliding really. Obviously it's only cheap so it's not like MST good, but on a hard floor it actually drifts and I thought it was good fun. 👍
