@@davonlo9298 a lot of the time that just gets turned around and spent back on the sports though. Colleges should spend millions on educating students, not on teaching them how to give each other CTE.
@John Penisini because that's the cycle that keeps the wheels spinning. They spend the same amount on sports each year because parents donate to the sports. If they reroute funds the experience won't be the same and they'll lose money. It's not about giving someone CTE it's about winning in a competitive sport. I can see you don't understand the hype behind the sport and that's fine, but know that you won't understand it if you don't try to understand it. If Penn State cut some of the funds to wrestling they'll have a shitload of problems because that's their calling card, they are know for the best wrestlers. Things are best left the way they are, schools have different branches of income for different reasons.
@@davonlo9298 completely disagree. Schools should invest in students, not just student athletes. At my college when I was there from 2012-16 the football coach was making $400k and an adjunct professor was making $25k. At my school, there was more money going into the football program than was generated by ticket/merch sales and donations. Our tuition dollars were going toward football. That's so wrong. The sports teams should separate from the schools and do their own completely separate fundraising.
@@brandonkhouli4972 head coaches deal with a lot. Definitely more than 4 hours a day. And I would say it's a lot more than 40 hours a week. Practice, plus everything Cayden said, plus constantly watching film and dealing with administration at the University
This is the problem with American colleges. Colleges are for education. It's great to do sports, but it shouldn't be at the cost of all the students. Have a private club or associated club, but all this adds to tuition bloat
This guy is the best wrestling content creator hands down ! Thank you Cayden we value your time and efforts been watching since 2019 and the content is still 🔥🔥🔥🤼♂️🤼🤼♀️
