How much can you save commuting? I save minimum $200 a month in gas alone commuting to work... and even more when you consider wear and tear on a car. Money isn't everything so its also the BEST fitness tip there is!
I'm car-less for 16 years. If I really need a car I just rent one. Besides saving on gas and car payments, there's no car insurance which is a ton where I live. Great video, thanks for sharing!
prolly in Europe or the three cities in burgerland usa where you don't need a car like New York, Chicago, Boston or Philadelphia. So basically the east coast.
I had many punctures before switching to schwalbe marathon tires. Had no flats in almost a year. They cost a bit more but the benefits outweigh the cost.
clincher tires tend to pinch the inner tubes when they aren't inflated on the hard side as you hit significant bumps, I think. I prefer sewup or tubular tires for this reason as the wheel rims are rounded and the tire protects the inner air casing. by the way you also know you can patch the inner tubes. thanks
Frico1964 I own a giant 2017 revel 2 29inch I started biking to work when I got my second DUI. I was forced too originally but it makes dealing with my suspended license I’m chicago not bad at all y’all
ap6982 that's the goal... Started last Aug and just been documenting my progress along the way including some bike races. But in the last 12 months though I have missed about 3 months worth of commuting. 2 months due to a shoulder injury and 1 month various reasome. Back on the bike again and should have some more regular content soon.
REitzriDes Comment on biking in the really hot months there in AZ, please. I’m moving to Tempe from Ohio this December. ^__^ (I’ve been there before, but I’m a new bike rider as of this year, only here in Ohio.)
At 0:13 that change of music was not the best because it went from mellow dubstep to this funky music and they didn't go together so well. Everything is good, just the music could be better and I noticed if you pause at 0:15 there is a weird line in the camera that seems to happen a lot , it might be the camera, just remember that if you have like a iPhone 6, 6s, 7 the camera will be better than the camera you are using im assuming. Just some advice because I really like these videos and want to see the channel grow.
yea my camera is TEARS! the light line is from over exposure and I try to cut as much out of the vid as possible but sometimes I miss it or cant. I don't have an iPhone and my current phone camera is much worse. Id like to upgrade cameras this year so we'll see if I can keep the vlog goin and if it sticks then Ill def have to invest in some camera gear. Thx much!
The blogs are awesome don't stop but I'd also make some other videos, instead of you on your commute, don't get me wrong I love the blogs but i think that's how your going to get more subscribers and views
biking commuting is the stupid idea ever...been there done that..unless u live 10 min from.work-- no.benefit at all -cicling: u get there sweaty or wet or cold...u are at the mercy of the weather -u cant carry much stuff, u maybe need store ur rain coat or changing ur cicling clothes, ur lap top might be all shaken up if u carry one -u ride near cars and trucks that are going 40km\h next to you.. - some days u get there tired.... ur muscle cant rest day in day out - u smelling.the car.fumes at.higher.pace.cause.u.breathe harder when pedaling - u need.find.a good place to put and lock ur.bicycle.and.gears or get stolen...specially in.big.cities -- if u wear suit it will get all wrinkle and if u wear cicling clother u need bring.ur suit.... - many other down facts..no benefits at all..... only people who work in low end jobs or cant drive or no license do this....u wont see any professional job doing this cause they are smarter .... -- get a low 50cc scooteer: u get to work fresh, store ur rain coat and eletronic under the seat, economical in gas, some countries dont require license for 50cc scooteer, u get there in 1\5 of the time and with that time u can work over time that will pay for gas or go to the gym or take ur gf to drink a coffee or get groceries and run some errand....if u cicling would take u forever ---- time is money -- park anywhere..harder and less attractive for thieves to steal..... --safer, u can go same speed as cars and filter when they are not moving---- --american think riding scooteer doesnt look cool...but is the best tool to go to work ....all wet and sweating on a bicycle is not cool either in Europe and asia ....low cc scooteer sell like hotcakes..everyone has 1 or 2....-they use it day in day out in the.big cities... ---80% of population cant be wrong --- for does of u who thinking in biking to work think again.....try a low cc scooteer... ONCE U GO SCOOTEER , THERE IS NO GOING BACK -- PLEASE..anyone who think otherwise, give me a feed back....with facts....not just talking from ur ass peace -

Eh, no. I worked as an investment banker in the 90s. I took the bus on Mondays, and brought in all my work clothes. There was a shower at work, although I only ever needed a quick rinse, cos I wasn't very sweaty from a 30 min commute. I had a place in the underground car park for my bike. I cycled to work 4 days a week, and it's faster than driving, even faster than the bus cos traffic in Dublin just sucks. You dress in layers if you're smart, and you should neither be too sweaty, nor too cold.
