Since I've been doing swimming for 11 years I haven't done much running and I hate it, but during quarantine I've tried going on runs, and I've managed to run an 800 without stopping

Nice! I remember when I first started out it took me a month of training until I could run 800m without stopping. Since then I've run 28 km unbroken and I've run a mile in 6:12. I'm sure this is just the beginning for you too! I suck at swimming though, still hoping to reach a breakthrough there. Any tips? ;)

I have 3 months practicing CrossFit and I immediately felt passion about it , I also enjoy Trail (not jogging / sorry) I started to see all about this discipline; and PUM 💥 I find Tia (of course for her record) but what I really like about her and Shane is the soul / respect / fresh and so honest energy! This makes me feel more engagement about this world and I will do my best , even when I have 38 years old and I’m out of competition (mmm or not ?) I have to search info about ; so , THANKS GUYS ! I like you a lot both ! 🌹 With al my respect from Mexico City 🙏🏻💪🏻🏋️‍♂️🤩

Tia, can you please do a video on the watch you use for training, your favorite sneakers, and whatever else you advise to avoid or reduce DOM and to gain muscle, lose fat, and healthy snacks you like and what brand is your wedding band from? Hi Tia😊 I am 45 years young 😀never done cf before! but I am very active, I weight lift at least 4 days and I run 5 days every morning for 30’ I do the lifts latter in the day. My question is do you think is too late to start cf? I mean, I wish I could be able to train to be qualified for the games!! Am I dreaming!!! at my age🤔🤔. Thanks Tia🙏🏻❤️

Hey Alana, Firstly, well done to you for keeping so active, very impressive! To answer your question about starting CF, it certainly is never too late. All the affiliates have the ability to help guide you and teach you the fundamentals at your pace. I think you will love it. I would suggest checking at least two or three gyms before selecting one and select the gym that makes you feel comfortable and that have great coaches.

I had the same question! I’m 42F and tried my 1st CF class today!!! I’m a rower and lift 2-3x wk (well everyday in quarantine) have been really slacking on the cardio. I think CF will help with conditioning and is much more social than lifting alone in a reg gym. Like a climbing gym. I’m a cancer survivor and I get so much inspiration from these athletes. Tia and Shane are amazing.

Former gymnast and lifter, turned rower as an adult here...erg workouts have a special place in the mental pain cave of intense training. There are so many good (bad) workouts and if you want a classic killer: 10 rounds of 500m on, 1 min off. By number 6 you're absolutely questioning life. I enjoy watching your journey and getting ideas for great workouts, thanks for sharing!!

Have you tried the Sean Taylor workout. 100 yard AMRAP, as many rounds sub 15 sec with 1:1 work to rest. Mental killer, you are rewarded with more work! My bet is Tia does 20 or more!

Do you still have to manage any muscle imbalances at this point in your fitness level? Is it something that needs to be fixed before getting serious or is it something that you always kind of have to manage? I feel like I have significant MI and I'm not sure how to move past it, I do ton of isometric work but still can't seem to fix it, wondering if maybe I'm just thinking about it too much. PS. Thank you so much for making these videos and giving us insight into your life and for responding to comments, I think that is just the coolest thing ever. You are truly an inspiration and my fitness/lifestyle role model!

I’m always curious how professional athletes adjust their own training if they put on a class for others one day. I’m a fitness coach myself and wanna get super shredded, but am having trouble getting to a daily double (one varied cardio sesh and one strength sesh per day) while also teaching 😂
