Yo Here are some quick sidenotes: Some people suggested to splash the horse with a potion of the turtle master as well, but this won't really work since the effect would run out before you can hit the ground. And hitting it midair is not really possible. Also glitches like the floating boat dream used, are considered negating the fall damage in my opinion. You can almost infinitly survive with an inventory full of enchanted Apple when go to void Or you Can infinitly take damage by suffocation with an Regeneration effect by a beacon ( i think works with drowning also )

You can take 9.9 hearts of damage before dying [Yes, it’s possible to take less than half a heart of damage.] No enchants, effects or anything. But if you use resistance or things like absorption IV, you can take more than 10 hearts

Technically I think jump boost is cheating because it doesn’t minimize the damage it essentially just makes the amount of damaging distance fallen shorter but like you said who cares it’s like 2 block. Edit: also could you have some lingering turtle master potions dispensed before you hit the ground onto the horse to give it res and take more damage?

Now 2 things 1 you confirmed pvp was a way of damage meaning you allowed multiple people, so couldn't someone else splash the turtle master on the horse? 2. I believe if you get hit with a bow right before you hit the ground it negates the damage done to you or at least some? If you shoot the horse at the last second that could help.

That could work yes, but I don't know if it will increase the height. The arrow thing, I actually tested that. That was my first idea. But no, the damage from the arrow would just get subtracted from the fall daamge. You would still die

Like testing tnt damage but he didn't stand with his feet in it because thats where the blast dmg hitbox is. He makes me frustrated watching sometimes lol, you don't.

Imagine combining this with Poseidons Vault.. It doesn't matter if you somehow are able to escape the vault itself, because you would then have to somehow survive a fall that gives you 90,000 damage- and you'd somehow have to smuggle in ALL of those items required to do so. Truly an impossible escape.

What about arrows? Using heavy amounts of tnt, you can accelerate the arrow to insane speeds. The faster arrows travel, the harder they hit, so if you got an arrow to go super speed, would it be more damage then 90k? I doubt it, but it’s worth a shot.

due to the fact that he took more damage for falling further, it means it takes more than 9000 blocks of height for a minecraft player to reach terminal velocity (or there is no air resistance)

On bedrock there used to be a glitch where dragon's breath basically kills you way tooo quickly and it was too op. ik it's not one hit but ull prob need many god apples to survive that without running away

Fun fact with resistance 5 u can take inf dmg and u survive (res 5 is command only effect and it absorbs 100% dmg and for the little amount that dont know like 0.1% the command is /effect @s resistance 100000 5 and to hide the particles u can add true to the command at the end)

Sven, if u hold a totem of undying u can take as much fall damage as u want and u won't die, so u can take more damage, unless using a totem is considered "dying" once and then revived
