We haven't done something like this at this size for less than $50,000 but it easily run to $100,000 depending on your selections and a variety of other factors. This is definitely a case by case type of scenario because it depends on the house and location within the house. You need to move around for plumbing, exhaust vent, etc. You will want to ensure the drain runs to your main stack are doable and won't cause you an unwanted bulkhead somewhere you don't want it, or the grade causes the ceiling to go too low. There are other areas of the house you need to take into consideration when doing this. Finally, there are some localities in our area which required increasing the size of your water main if you add another bathroom to your house. That can add at least another $15,000 - $20,000 to the project for the permit, excavation, and water lines.

@@stellohomes Thanks! Just checking to see if my reno was in line. Construction, plumbing, and electrical ran about $40,000. But that doesn't include any of the tile from Spain, fixtures, custom-made double vanity, mirrors, painting, lighting, hardware, etc. I'm almost afraid to add those up, considering the faucets alone were almost $800 each.
