Thank you for sharing and your honesty. The pay sounds terrible. A few years ago I was shocked to learn that I earned more than an airline captain on a local low cost airline here in Australia. I wasn’t directly responsible for 150 lives in my job.
I flew the first time in my life I am 58 .. all I can say the staff on the flight where brilliant I atuly don't think they don't get paid enough for the crap they take from the passengers And the staff walk up and down the plain with rubbish bags taking rubbish from the passengers but some of the passengers seem to think dropped all the junk on the floor is ok .. I think the flight attendants both men and women need a medal for the crap they have to put up with .. Some people don't need a jet to fly just a cattle truck More respect for the flight attendants and the pilot's and crew .. it's a difficult job And I think passengers need to show more respect for the job they do.... Me and my family flew from Manchester to the Spain 23rd came back 2nd January On both flights the crew and flight attendants where brilliant 👍🇬🇧
Boy don't ask me😂 I would have loved to earn more Anyway, as I said in the video, since I resigned they raised they pay, I guess it's also because France changed the minimum wage
He's a superb businessman is Michael O'Leary of that there is no doubt. But surely he could pay his team from the time they arrive at the airport until they leave the airport? Having staff only last 6 months isn't helping anyone. But my question. I had a particularly nightmare landing into Malta in April, a thunderstorm. Do cabin crew ever get frightened? If so, when. Thanks. 👍
so what do you do know. i know basic in manchester was £900, plus £6.54 duty pay. not really a lot considering it would take you to £1500 which is my basic pay with BA 😅
@@eleanorjourney your neighbour country Switzerland. But with 1400€ I could barely pay my rent and health insurance. I need at least 3000-3500 a month. You could work as a teacher in Ticino with your Italian background😊. Or change to Swiss, Edelweissair (if you know German as well) or Easyjet in Basel or Geneva. I am sure you would earn around 3500-4000 Swiss Frances a month.
Such an interesting video. Im currently considering to apply. Are you able to take annual leave? It doesnt say anything about holiday leave on the website
Hello Eleanor good and see you again, was your salary not much no, I have €2350 per month and am disabled after tax, Ryanair is known for slave contracts regrettably 🥰🥰
I'm not an eu citizens and I don't have the unristrected right to work in eu , I apply for job of cabin crew 12-05-2023 and in 16-05-2023 I receive email with English test and today they send me a new email with invitation for an interview online tomorrow if I success is they do visa for me?
What I know is that they don't do any visa and they don't accept you if you don't have a European passport already, but there are different procedures if you applied to be based in Morocco. But things could be different now, so good luck!
Hello, I applied also in this company as Cabin Crew. I am non-EU . I am not also EU passport holder. I passed the english test and now for online interview. Is it still possible? Btw, I am currently in Croatia and don’t have croatian id yet. How things will work then?Hoping for your response. Thank u🙏
None of my colleagues have ever had motion sickness during the first flights, but some have had ear problems and discovered pathologies that made it impossible for them to fly for example
Perfect video ,perfect english, perfect information 10/10 and also thanks for you information off your salaries and One more question I always want to know how was your feet after working in high heels for six months ?
I talk about this in my latest video. Ryanair flight attendants don't have meals included. I had to bring my own food with me, or buy the meals like a normal passenger😬 For other companies is different, but I don't have specific information about the kind of meals they have
The price for a very nice room with ensuite bathroom near the station was 450 euros I usually spent 200 euros per month on groceries 300 euros on flights and bus tickets cause I was basically traveling around every day off Something around 200 euros to eat in restaurants, phone bill, Netflix and other random expenses I never spent more than 1200 euros per month
School gave me the basics, but I consumed a lot of English media as a teenager (TV shows/RU-vid/Music/books/blogs...) and when I reached a B2 level I went to London for an English course to practice and talk to natives
In France we had to make the Carte Vitale and things were basically covered by the State. Ryanair didn't offer insurances but I don't know if things are different in other countries
Lolll if you read my replies to many comments you can see that I always said I was perfectly able to live with that salary, but it was definitely not proportionate to the job. Do you work for Ryanair in an understaffed base with a roster with ZERO home standbys?? Do you have to wake up at 4 am and deal with 800 people every day?? Shut up if you don't. Many companies pay much more for WAY less hours. And I currently have a job that's paying me more per hour than Ryanair so take your speculations somewhere else❤️
I'm only talking about my experiences, people can draw their own conclusions.😊 Also, I've said in every video that I really enjoyed my time in Ryanair and it was a nice experience for me, but I can't pretend everything was perfect and only say good things about it!
This is no secret. Flight attendants don't get paid much. You'll be scraping by. It's not a job to make money. And you can get a real job and work 200 hours a month and make $4000 with minimum skill. Crap job being a flight attendant.
200 hours a month is slavery😂😂 as a flight attendant I earn half of that for less than 50 hours a month. If you want to work like a cow for what for you is good money, go on. I prefer having free time😂😂
@@seren4740 200 hours a month is a normal work week. Flight attendants can't complain they make crap since they hardly work any hours. That's all. It's a part time job that shouldn't get benefits or pension, etc.
@@ferret5002 yep, from the beginning, but there were two months of probation in which if you did something they don't like (strike, no show, late) they could just stop the contract at the end of the 2 month period. But again, this was in MRS, where the contract was with Malta Air, in Bergamo for example they give first a 4 months contract with crewlink, I guess also in other bases
@@eleanorjourneyin BGY 2y contract with Crewlink (6 months of probation included) then another 2y of Crewlink or permanent with Malta Air depending on...some factors which are not known.
