Congratulations on your Z06!!! #0478 here. My Spec was 144,801 at MSRP from Hendricks in Norfolk Virginia. Loaded 3LZ with the Ceramic brakes and low fully exposed Carbon fiber wing. Ceramic Matrix Gray with Tension Blue interior. The Z07 aero was on Constraints, wasn't able to get it. But, like you I was really lucky. From the time my order was placed to receiving the car... 42 days!! November allocation. Order placed December 2nd. Car built January 6th. Arrived at the showroom January 13th 2023. The only Z06 in the area until 2 weeks ago!! Love ths car!! Blue Ice 2!! General Lee Out!!
Congrats on the car she's a beauty, I'm #12 on my dealers list have had my money down since 3/2020 my dealer was #1 in corvette sales in Pa but hasn't gotten allocations yet, enjoy your beautiful ride.
Congrats! I bought my 2020 C8 Z51 from Scott too. Good dealership & Scott is great to work with. They were selling MSRP back when the C8 was first released as well.
I also had an R8 V10. My Z06 is being built next week, 3LZ htc rapid blue with CCB, yellow calipers, 2 tone blue interior, carbon level 2, front lift, black badges and exhaust, tit sat wheels. Not sure how Hendrick got so many aero cars macmulkin has got a lot more allocation but zero aero cars. Anyways the days after I take museum delivery I'm adding a splitter and scrape armor during the ppf, ceramic, and tint work. Later if I decide to do race cats and an exhaust I may add the AGM high wing. I'll be keeping the car. So far I like aero or Z07 for coupe but for htc I love the sleekness of the ducktail wing so I may not change wings at all.
Huge Congrats! Great car. my Rapid Blue Z06 is sitting in Bowling Green waiting to be trucked to my dealer. Don't take this the wrong way, but know how it happened that your car got picked, but someone at the dealer had to have "released" the allocation. They should have acknowledged the mistake and taken it back and given it to the first guy in line. I was the first guy in line at my dealer and if this happened to me, I'd be livid cause I waited for 3 years and they have not gotten a second one. But, it is what it is and you got a great deal because of it. Congrats!
I have 2 I bought back in December. Coupe z06 50K over and convertible Z06 55K over. Worth every penny! Here in Southern California dealers did not have list, they are selling them all over msrp.
Thanks man! I do not track it. I would recommend to anyone buying a Z06, do not spend the extra on the Z07 car if you are not tracking it. Just add the high wing.
Fun video, but I have to disagree with you about the msrp forum talk. Nobody is trying to get the prices down, and a lot of them actually can afford the car. The problem is GM will revoke your warranty if you decide to sell your car, before 6-12 months, but there are zero consequences when a dealership prices one of their cars at $100K over sticker. Its not right.
I would love it if someone could do a POV video of this car for 20 minutes or so. Been searching everyday hoping to see a new pov video for the 2023 z06 and I plan on owning one.
I've given up on dealers in Phx. They're so bad, they want $1K+ down just to be on a list, and when the car comes in, they call thru the list seeing who will pay the most over MSRP (starting at $100K).
Love the car and how transparent you are to the channel. Enjoy that car man it looks great but we all know you didn’t buy the car as an investment?? 😅 Maybe that’s what you told your wife so you can get the car. We all know that cars are not investments. nobody is spending over MSRP right now. The hype has died down significantly. if you wanted an investment spend 145k on a rental property then use the income to buy your car and have write offs too.
I don’t think it was luck, I believe good things happen to good people, congrats. I bought my 23 Stingray($20K over) and that’s probably the highest I’ll go maybe 30K for the Z06
the z06 will get more money. I know none of us want to pay that. I belive its 50 to 100 over. There will be small amount of peeps to get at msrp. VERY SMALL!
Wow 20 over. Nuts. Just received my 23 Z51 from Macmulkin for $2400 under MSRP. Highly recommended them. Not sure why the discount but didn't question it. They sell 150 C8's a month. Only 8 month wait for me. Do your research if buying one of these.
Hay, congrats.by chance, does your z06 burps when you turn it off? I'm trying to figure out if they all make that noise. mine has it.noise comes from the rear.3 Other friends z06 have it, and 1 z07 package doesn't.i got lucky like you did.
@CarSpecGarage guy on you tube by the name of vette titans is trying to figure it out also. He thinks it comes out the rear main seal which i think is impossible. The gm techs are not sure either at my service center
@@c8miamicarclub No way it would be coming out the rear main seal. If it did, you would see oil on the ground. I really just think its back pressure from the valves or something in the exhaust.
@@CarSpecGarage i think it comes from the tranny air release valves.which theres 2 hoses running up near your mass air flow sensor bolted on the imside
And ^^^ is the reason dealers are charging over MSRP people. I sold 10 or so to individuals at sticker, only to see them flipping for 25-30k profit. So if a guy with no skin in the game can do it, the dealers are going to get their piece of the pie as well. And this is where we are.
Gas guzzler is a joke, because most people don’t drive their Corvette that much. Enjoy your car. I paid $77k for my 19 ZO6. I am just going to keep it. I just can’t justify the price of a C8.
