@@SupercarRanch Anxious to see that. My preference would be to get a Mist Red car with natural and black interior with red stitching. I see no reason why they could not do that but I'm sure they would not. Be smart for Chevy to just charge more but allow a selection of personalized options and colors that might compete with what McLaren and Lamborghini offer.

Yeah. So many terrible stories like that. These chevy dealers don’t know how to deal with these types of things. Exotics are sold above msrp and/or with stipulations to get an allocation for many many years but they know how to handle it. Chevy dealers don’t. They make one deal, then change it later and screw people over.

@@SupercarRanch LOL...with my position at MacMulkin, I think I have a better chance at a ZR1 and certainly the E-Ray but I think I will pass on that one. Price too close to the Z06 particularly since I don't like body colored trim and no center exhaust.

That may be a good guess. I think they will carry a price above msrp for the entire production run.

You can’t buy one from their website. You can “price” them on their website, but you have to order it and buy it from a dealer. Then you are at the mercy of how the dealer decides to do business

Congrats! Mine was also a December 2nd order, but toward the end of that run. It was hard to wait that long.

I agree it sounds crazy and is hard to swallow that reality. But if you took away the chevy name, the car is surely worth $200k. Remember everyone said the same about the 2005 Ford GT. “$135k for a Ford!”. Different car and quantity, I know, but the same sentiment. So it is priced well at $110-150k depending on options. Now, paying $250-300 like some people have, that’s just a really bad financial decision, regardless of how good the car is.

I didn’t have to. I chose to. Then I sold it for a huge profit and bought another one all cash. So minimal cash left my pocket over the span of my 4 C8s

No where near a logical comparison, but yes the e63s is a great car.

Down payment or trade makes all the difference. I could have made my payment $1/ month or $2000/month if I wanted to. The monthly payment has nothing to do with whether I got a good deal.

With trade in he only really paid 4k over MSRP. Not bad for a car with this kind of demand
