Your voice reminds me of a childhood school friend. Makes me wonder how his life went after he moved away. I bought a bunch of old Marvel and DC trading card sets and sealed boxes around 2019 or early 2020, before they suddenly got really popular and expensive. Wish the artwork in the comics still looked like this. Late 80s/ early 90s was a great time to be a kid, getting to enjoy these cards and the comics of those times as they were happening.
@@toysandgames1275 California. My dad was in the Air Force at the time and stationed at McClellan Air Force base. Would've been in the late 80s to very early 90s. My dad spent 17 out 20 years in the Air Force stationed at McClellan, which is virtually unheard of. You'd make friends and their parent(s) would get new orders and move away.
I have the complete collection (with doubles for all); ALL 5 Holograms (with some double). AND 8 unopened packs!!! Look to sale, not in a rush too sale; but would let them go if the right opportunity came along.

I was at my local LCS today he had two boxes of Marvel cards one box you can buy a pack with $25 the second box he had a price of $850 what do you think about it
IMO, The only Marvel card set worth having is the Donruss Marvel Super Heroes 66 piece card set from 1966. I've got them all and many dupes with some slabbed cards for good measure. Make Mine Marvel!
I MEAN NO DISRESPECT BUT IT'S NOT WHAT SOMEONE IS ASKING FOR WHEN THEY ARE SELLING SOMETHING ONLINE THAT COUNTS IT'S WHAT THEY ACTUALLY GET FOR IT IS WHAT COUNTS. YOU CAN TRY TO SELL SOMETHING FOR A THOUSAND DOLLARS OR A HUNDRED DOLLARS THAT DOESN'T MEAN THAT IS WHAT YOU'RE GOING TO GET FOR IT. YOU HAVE TO PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT SOMETHING IS ACTUALLY SOLD FOR TO DETERMINE WHAT IT'S VALUE IS AND NOT WHAT SOMEONE IS ASKING FOR.
@@dekdav8037 I made that comment two years ago and during that time I had very bad vision and couldn't see or read small text or words which is why I was using cap lock so I can see what I was writing. I had my vision fixed since then so now I can actually see a lot better and don't need to use cap lock anymore.
