That’s a cca (unless he converted to regular much sooner than typical). His pay is about $19.51 (might be off by some cents) it’s $19 nonetheless. He’s doing what is referred to as “collection’s” picks up the blue drop boxes and companies with package pickups.
@@foxx180 1, don’t contradict someone’s statement without some evidence moron. 2. Tell us all what he is then. 3. The info is correct whether it applies to him or not does not matter. Total moron
We make $36 at top pay. Overtime/double pay daily. I'm at the bottom of the pay scale and made almost $80k last year. Top pay regulars can make $125k +
If you want to work for the post office you need to understand that where you enter will determine the trajectory of your entire career there. Do not expect to be the exception if you hear everyone is always quitting at one office, find an office that people love their job at and rarely leave, aka good rural offices, get in and grind it out til you make career. You don’t want career at a place with awful management anyways.
I quit the PO after working a few months and I’ll never go back to it again. It is a 10 to 11 hour workday each day and you have to work weekend starting out. They change the policy so the first two years you have to work every weekend including Sundays and you don’t get full benefits until after two years. I am not lazy, not by a longshot, I’m a worker, but if you take this job, you will not have a life. The mail load can be heavy and it can be stressful. The LLV vehicles they drive are horrible on your body, seriously do not think about taking this job
If they finish their route faster then what’s approximated They go home early but still get paid for however long it says it should have taken. If they go over their designated route time they get paid overtime. Hence the nonchalant lackadaisical nature of this man given he stopped in the middle of his busy workday (federal employee mind you) with a truck still full of stuff to answer your bs questions.
CCAs in Cali start a bit over 19 an hour. They can make a LOT of overtime though, and if their office is a hot mess like my old one, they can work 70 plus hours a week
It’s bs, you gotta wait for the guy with the seniority and route owner to retire if you even wanna do it full time. For me, I went to two different post offices and one wanted me to come in one day a week and the other 2 days.
I was excited for gamedevrcocket but that price is too steep for me without like a little trial or something thatll show you the vibe/flow of the course
Haha there at top pay working 6 days a week an there always working ! Don’t make it seem like it’s easy an it depends on city an if you getting V time an overtime everyday smh 🤦♂️ don’t make it seem it’s all year long especially right now cutting everything
@@99SVTBolt right but! You’re talking about carriers that have been with the post office for 30 years or more, they always are the ones that make the big bucks because they earned it, they get a raise each year and they’re doing major overtime. They start you off at around $19.33 an hour, you’re not going to be making big bucks until you have put in a lot of time and please know it takes 20 years to get your pension
USPS is trash the computers never work so I can’t ship anything, and they always mark packages delivered 2 days early leaving me in fear that it might be stolen
Cca he’s not a carrier. What’s he talking about his route … he’s doing the side jobs , the default position, what he needs to do is put a opt hold down on a route
Been in for 19 year. $22 per hour is what I make . No over time. I love the Job ; but our par is so bad. We pay for our own retirement 3% match. We pay $1200 for medical. My Route is in California. I love my Job; Pay is Disgusting 9-12 hours a day 5 Days a week If you want to work , you can; Just show up 9-12 hours a day for $22 per hour

Basically USPS in a nutshell, you work so much plus overtime which gives you a lot of money but you Basically barley have enough time to enjoy it lol😂 I no longer work for usps but I still kept my USPS employee ID badge and lanyard I still wear my ID badge behind my current work ID badge at my new job to remember my first job 🥹
