He has lost size. Trt is 200 mgs of testosterone. I promise you he's on more than that. I. Not judging him, he's great. But its more than trt. Been aroundgyms and juice for over 40 years.
@@williamapicelli4778 actually 200mg is not TRT anymore it's a beginner course TRT is 75mg bro I am very sure of it. It's like this here in Sweden. And Larry made a video explaining that he got some health problems and he stopped juicing and switched to TRT
I think the bench will improve, it’s just going to improve slower on TRT. After a break from this strength cycle, I believe the next cycle will be better

I think larry looks much better now If he decides to back on serious compounds? I guarantee he will be even better than ever You don't lose all your strength whe you come off, but it makes a big difference no matter what others say. I've bee there and lost over 80lb in the bench and a fair bit on other lifts also

If anyone has any shoulder issues (Like i do), specifically some labral or rare delt pain - elbow wraps take a ton off of there as well. I haven't purchased the PR ones, but I do have a pair of Iron Bulls that I use for heavy sets where my rare delt may flare up. So they're a life saver not just for elbow inflammation. I haven't tried overloading with heavier weight, however. I'm just able to get more volume out of weight I typically would do raw.

I think that the wraps do not increase in percentage. I mean for Larry the number is around that 8.7%, but imagine for a very small guy (or an ant, lol), getting the wraps like that should increase the bench a lot more. While benching 'a sun', the wraps would do nothing in percentages. So it is more like giving +20kg, instead of +8%. So the lower the bench number is, the greater the increase in %.

That talk about breathing into the diaphragm was really great with all those little details lift by lift. You should make Shorts channel where you post little clips like that, and videos of individual lifts and sets of course. Cater to the ADHD generation! P.S. Larry's best ever competition-standard bench was 295 kg (650 lbs). TRT-Larry looks like he could probably bench 240 kg (529 lbs) after a good prep. That's about an 18% difference! Mind you, Larry's TRT dose might still put his testosterone levels at the very upper range of normal. That, and Larry's past heavy use of PEDs which has allowed him to build a superphysiological amount of muscle mass means exogenous performance-enhancing substances have likely boosted his potential 1RM in the bench press by a whopping 25-30%. That estimate would still mean a natural Larry Wheels could've comfortably pressed in excess of 200 kilograms in competition. Now if your run of the mill 3 plate bencher got a similar 25-30% increase into their 1RM bench press, they'd go from 140 kilograms (309 lbs) to 175-182 kg (386-401 lbs). It is, of course, worth keeping in mind, that each individual responds differently to PEDs, and this "estimation" has no real basis in reality.

Are pause reps beneficial at increasing bench 1RM max? When I max bench, I don’t pause as I do not compete. I have found my bench sticking point to be midway through the lift. Having reviewed a recording of my recent PRs, I have also noticed that the rep slows down midway through. However, the rep does speed up at elbow lockout. I have implemented floor press before to help improve this sticking point, however i was wondering if doing pause reps would be similarly beneficial. Im an athlete, and im going to be lifting with my team soon so i unfortunately wont have a choice in what exercises I include in my training. However, occasionally doing pause reps would be something I could control.

Absolutely. I have the same situation, bottom is easy, sticking point is about midway to 65% up, and then the top is easy. My thoughts: I would say paused presses are key, and are really a thing of beauty, lol. I do both in my program. Sometimes I do a block of only paused and then switch or sometimes combine them. After doing a long paused block, when I switch over, I find the same weights using touch and go feel much lighter. Floor press is a great tool. I do it on shoulder day, as I bench once per week (I mostly go heavy with low reps and multiple sets, so more than once a week tends to be counterproductive for me). They are a good shoulder warmup as well and get in some volume, for me, mid-week. Definitely pause them on the heavier weights to get the max benefit. Chains, bands, and/or a slingshot (or elbow wraps to a smaller degree) are also good to have in your toolbox for building big bench. They overload the top half and will really work that sticking point. Best of luck to you!

are you currently in a bulking or maintenance diet. obviously you were able ot lift more on compounds but also at agreater bodyweight. or is the fact you are no longer on compounds not allowing you to pack on the same size bodyweight, even if you had higher bodyfat.
