Maybe the person is lonely or likes him as a son or lost a child and emotionally adopted him. That’s why he gets extra’s because you minus costs of meals from the $500 rent. That’s a discount and the work buying groceries and preparing meals. That owner seems very kind.
my grandma rent out for 1k or 900 / 800 plus u wouldn't get a piece of mind cus shes someone who is very organized and loves to nag. the previous person who stayed there got scolded by my grandfather for leaving her laundry for so long cus the other ppl needed to use the space (btw, my grandma can do laundry and cook for them but they got to pay extra) she loves money bro
Shared room are cheaper, if one person in a common room definitely higher, unless the landlord looking for long term rent security then it with be cheaper than market rates.
When they speak english it's difficult to differenciate, it's only when they speak malay or mandarin we will know by their accent UNLESS they have been in Singapore for so long or a 2nd generation PR, we couldn't tell.OMG! @zhen86
I beat them all for rent. Low rent, I mean. Difference is….I am not the tenant. There’s still ‘nice’ people like me around. 😊 Like this guy comment, ‘$800 a month, very painful, physically, emotionally, mentally!’ 😂
I stay with my parents but give them allowance and buy groceries too, similar to what they pay for rent. As a working adult, I think it’s embarrassing if you stay w ur parents/in-laws as free loaders.
