Love your videos guys, have been learning a lot and enjoy seeing your channel grow. Would be curious to know thought process on not running some 30VISWs (w/ braid backing). Is thinking that they’re outgunned trolling out of VB/OBX or moreso that for charter clients goal is to get yellowfin to the gaff efficiently so you can resume trolling?

Great video guys! I have a setup for inshore mahi and kings that you might like - Talica 12-II reels on Calstar 700L stand-up rods and a matching pair of Stella 6500s on Calstar 700L rods. Plenty of backbone for white marlin and smaller schoolie yellowfin too. Those little Talica 12 reels are super light but don't pack a lot of line. So you have to be quick on the draw. 😆

This is more of a deeper 1.5+ day setup. Don't need this for most "offshore" fishing. But great job at being way too excited to make a video of $1k setups... 😅
