Those people who are commenting copywriting is goanna end because of AI. They are not at all informed that companies are already developing a policy of no AI-content. All of my freelancing clients are with me because they found AI content from other writers before.
Why does it matter to the client whether the content is coming from a human or a machine? The only thing that the client should care about is a good writeup. ChatGpt is a text generative machine, so every time you run a prompt the answer will be unique and hence there is no chance of plagiarism or duplicate content.
@@waqarmehdi4394 ChatGPT or an other AI based tool is total crap in creativity. Good for writing email but not for copywriting. Also ChatGPT can detect contents written by itself. The reason why AI based contents are discouraged because these tools learn from a database or some online available data and then they manipulate the texts and present it to you. It is like asking for noodles and being served with Maggi. Plagiarism issue can arise easily and reputation of the company could get affected due to GPT based chatbots.
@@100-w6e yes, it is definitely worth learning copywriting. It is the only non technical skill which pays at par with tech jobs. Sometimes more if you're really good at it.
I know freelancers who make 1 crore a year. After 7-10 years, it's easy to make 1 lakh from freelancing. Of course, your writing needs to be top-notch. Most good content writers I know (my favourites) easily charge like $500 per 1000 words. But the nuance is, most people will not stick around to learn and go through the pain of not getting any client initially. So when you start, you make almost nothing especially in freelancing. The above number are of 1% writers. Or less.

I don't think charging in terms of word count always works in copywriting unless you're writing articles / blog posts. I assume it won't take 10 yrs for a copywriter to make 1 lakh as a freelancer.
1 Lakh is used for 100 thousand in Indian Sub-continent. i.e. India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, and to some extent in Sri, Lanka, and South-East Asian countries too.
so many people are wondering about ai going to replace this job, well naah, its just gonna raise the bar high, remember this skill is just about creativity in words and ai is not creative, it will mimic what human have already done, not think itself.

A lot of you in comments are partial and have surface level understanding of copywriting. AI is a tool, it's like cherry on top. It can write copies that are worth peanuts. As a advanced copywriter myself, the deep and multi dimensional aspects that I cover as copywriter yields me 2.25-2.5 lakh a month. I work on 8-10 copies that . I charge almost 180-220 dollars each articles. You all have a generic view and understanding of it. You just watched some fancy video on RU-vid telling AI gonna end this Job and you are just stuck to it.
@@marsh.mellowcheekss9786 Few step that might help you. Don't learn anything from RU-vid. Hop onto a good copywriting course that is online and extensive also 20-25 hours worth of and paid for. Follow 5-10 top copywriters and practice everyday. Do internships on internshala for copywriting. After 2 internships, pick your copywritng niche and research about it. Find compaines online by google searches. Build a work sample of 4-5 copies and show them. Set your rates. Book them and get paid.
I made $5333.09 last month as a copywriter. So you can make way more than 1 Lakh if you have good client acquisition systems in place and you’re good at what you do
It's better out side India. But ofc you can get international clients if you work freelance. Sometimes if your clients make it big they even sponsor you to come over!
@@supravasabat8381 personally I suggest getting an internship. You'll get hands on experience , learn how agencies work and get to work with varied clients while still building your portfolio. The skill of copywriting is an active skill. Meaning you'll grow as you write. Listening to someone talk about it doesn't help. Hope that answered your question.

Yeah!! content writing is basically are the longer content like blogs, articles, press -releases etc. whereas Content is also written in Copywriting but it's is crisp like marketing tagline ,Catchy slogan, Caption and text that we saw in the marketing video are comes under Copywriting. Yes it did left. Firstly, Companies are never going to use a tool that has knowledge just upto 2021. Secondly, they can't rely on an AI tool as it is not always accurate and it does not confirms success. It might be true that the work will reduce for copywriters, but either way companies will need to hire copywriters.
@@Amarjyotyou are wrong. Companies need content in half the time and all of them are working on developing prompts. I was terminated after the company had chatGPT prompts.

It is fake , freelance cannot earn upto a lakh bcoz only company post job in website,they not pay more and it is not a stable income ,for getting one project It might take more than 2 or 3 months it is waste of time. Only stress, depression.
I understand it'll be stressful, unsteady income. But if you think trying for just 2-3 months to get a project is a waste of time, then you don't have enough patience and drive to pursue that thing as a career.
