Love the show. These guys go all out and then some. Happy for Dave and his family as they began from scratch then built everything from there! Huge accomplishments!
If I could only had the money kindiget would be the one to go to there. are a lot of great restores to go but he got something we all love and that is passion for his trade and he loves his family and crew if I could only had the money
Hey, hello. Today is labor day. I am binge watching, it is about molds. Fiberglass. When I was showed aluminum molding. They said to prep the mold before pouring , a cooking spray, like pam. Can't go wrong guys. 😘
Love these guys! Beautiful creations just wished they had something in the lower price range for the average Joe's. I could never afford a Kindig car unless I would hit the lottery! Love the show!
Never saw in person but it definitely appears the quality is very high but (let me just say i love cars) i don’t see why anyone would pay $500k to $1million+ for a custom car. I guess if you have that kind of money to waste but even i had i would rather buy multiple non custom cars than have a custom…just my opinion.
I like the show very much, but I'm more into shows that teach like Ian Russell, Edd China, Elvis Presley from Wheeler Dealers, and the other guy from England also, Tracy, the guy from roadworthy, I think these Auto shows should be educational we need a lot more of that. Don't get me wrong I like Chip Foose, iron Resurrection, Vegas Rat Rods, my all-time favorite Texas metal 80% of their work is in house you got to respect that
It can get more expensive! I'm from Boise, and have Charlie Hutton working about 15 miles from me. After leaving Byod Coddington, he moved up here to Caldwell Idaho. Charlie has been on three different " Riddler" award winning crews! The last one he worked on, ran the customer a cool million!
Ive seen quite a few of his creation on Barrett /Jackson auctions blocks... I guess it is a pretty expensive loss... Copper Caddy and Blue Suede Shoe to name a few..
BR is popular because of the family atmosphere at the shop. I hated Boyd Coddington's show because of all the yelling and fabricated controversies. BR is just a fun show to watch.
I think these shows jacks up the prices of local car restoration prices to over 100.00 an hour -200.00 an hour so they won't even talk to your unless you are spending 50k I know because that has happened to me
Restorations start ay 250,000$. I Emailed to try and get a paint job and they turned me down saying i had to commit to a full ground up restoration and had to wait at least 10 years to have any work done. After i opened the email, when i went back to the email to show my wife the answer, The email was erased after the first read, and I did not erase it....... Apparently they leave no paper trails
Yep, I heard that same $250,000 minimum number. That number may have even been bumped up another 10-20%, since I heard this a few years ago. His shop is definitely for the ultra rich. Wonder why NONE of these Bodyshop Build shows tells the viewer how much each restoration costs?? THAT would be worth staying to the end for!!
Great show but the average person can't afford that much cost in building a car or truck. So who's actually paying for it, and once it's done, who actually owns it. Who wanted it done, or when it's finished bitchen ride.
"So who's actually paying for it, and once it's done, who actually owns it" ANSWER: If you watch the show, you will see that customers with deep pockets, commission the builds. The customers own the car, with the exception of the carbon fibre Corvette build, that was built for Dave as a promo car and as a a potential new product line.
i restore jags, and healey,s in the uk . we can not get any where near dave and his crew, whatever it costs . if you got it get it. you will not get better care and engineering
It's seems a little strange every car that comes out of their shop has the same door handles. I think they do that inspite of anyone's tastes.. also everyone wants big fat tires that to big and hideous?
