I used to get bullied in school because i had beard at young age once i went to one place to get electrolysis. the women who work there she told me she don't recommend it for men when she see me i just left from there feeling really sad.

Is it true that electrolysis on body works faster as compared to face ? Like face hair needs series of sessions taking up to 2 years or so but body work can be completed in a year ?

Ooo that's a good question! I'm not sure but the way electrolysis works is that every hair needs to be destroyed a few times before it stops growing back. The majority of the hair on the face and body can be in different cycles. It is impossible to calculate it and everyone is so different so I'm not sure

The bulk of the hair is gone I just maintain it by getting electrolysis done a few times a year to treat the new hair growth caused by my PCOS

Hi, I’m still trying out different salons to see who’s good but one place at the top of my list is ‘Electrolysis expert’. She is really good. If the hairs are really distorted, it may be worth finding a place that offers Blend or Galvanic.

Can you please tell me how long it takes for hair to be completely gone. Lip, chin, under chin, sides of face (basically beard area but for ladies). How long did it take you? I have been having so many and the hair still keeps coming back. Maybe 4 months.

It can take up to 2 years for some people. Everyone’s body is different so it’s impossible to say when you will get your final results. It took me 3 years to get my final result and now I just maintain it by getting electrolysis done a few times a year for the new hair growth caused by my PCOS. It is a long journey because every single hair needs to be treated a few times before it is destroyed completely. It will take time but it will be worth it!

@@melisatesbel How long did you go between treatments over the course of 3 years? Would you say once a month is effective?

@@MiszAyMe At first I went every 2 weeks. Then gradually as the hair reduced, every 3 weeks, then once a month and so on. I now get it done every 3 months to maintain ( I don't take any medication to control hormones that's why I get new hair growth). Everyone is different so just book your session in as soon as the hair is long enough for the beauty therapist to tweeze out after they destroy it.
