Lauren what is your honest opinion on online masters of computer science. Specifically georgia tech online masters of computer science. Its apparently only 8k or something and if you complete it it awards you an indentical diploma as inperson master of computer science from georgia tech. From your experience do employers generally respect this degree like an in person degree?

It's not my field so I can't say directly. I'm actually going to do an interview with a professor in CS to ask some of these questions. I recommend looking on linkedin for people who've done the program and asking them their opinion.

Do you meant Graduate Research Assistant? If so, that works similarly to a GSI position. However not all professors are able to do tuition reimbursement. I turned down a GRA position because it didn't include tuition reimbursement.
